I operate at the intersection of trucking, technology, quality, and story — which is another way of saying I spend my time explaining why complex systems fail in predictable ways and why we act surprised every single time.I grew up in the trucking and machine shop industries, learned early that quality is expensive (but failure is spectacularly more so), and discovered that “Nothing happens until someone sells something” is less a slogan and more a law of physics.I’ve inspected aerospace hardware, sold capital equipment, managed regions without “sales” in the title (because the smartest salespeople never tip their hand), and walked enough trade show floors to know that the real deals happen five feet away from the booth.At the Technology &amp; Maintenance Council meetings, I didn't just attend conferences — I ran field experiments. Electrification, high-voltage systems, Recommended Practices, OEM politics, California mandates, battery State of Health metrics — this is not abstract theory. It’s the Fire Horse of the highway:  high voltage under the chassis, polite disruption in the boardroom, and cultural upheaval in the shop.I write “from the trenches” because the trenches are where quality either survives or quietly dies. I believe trade shows are working laboratories. I believe preparation beats bravado. I believe objections should be handled before they become objections. And I believe that if your product actually works, someone in R&amp;D will eventually put it in a textbook — which is better than any marketing campaign money can buy.My concept of NeuroArts is simple:how creative engagement, disciplined learning, and shared problem-solving literally reshape the brain — and therefore reshape industries. Adaptation is not automatic. It is practiced. The shop floor of 2030 will not resemble 1995, no matter how nostalgic we feel about carburetors.Here’s my bias: Quality is everyone’s responsibility. Silos are expensive. Fear is inefficient.
