Teacher of Religious Education at KS3, 4 and a teacher of General RE for KS5. 

During my time here I was an attached tutor for KS3 where I delivered RSE to several form groups. I also ran an extra curricular social justice group.

Religious of the Assumption

As the Administrator at Milleret House, I was responsible for the administration of the British province of the Religious of the Assumption. My main tasks included dealing with customer inquiries, booking guests into onsite accommodation and setting up conference hire. I am able to use Microsoft Office & Outlook to sync work calendars with others working on the site to ensure the smooth running of day to day life. I worked with the Superior of the community to ensure that the needs of the Religious of the Assumption are met and that their ethos is shared by all who visit. I previously covered this role during October 2015.

I temporarily joined the retreat team at Savio House. I create activities and run sessions for up to 45 young people at a time. My responsibilities extend to managing the social media for the house.

Assisting Dr Peter & Charlotte Vardy with their UK conferences for GCSE/A-Level Religious Studies, Philosophy & Ethics students. My roles were extended to include not only front of house duties but also assisting the office manager and once delivering a debate to the pupils when one of the regular lecturers was absent.

I am a Catholic & transgender teacher of Religious Education. I completed a PGCE in Secondary Religious Studies at the University of Cambridge in 2016/17. I am currently a Teacher of Religious Education & Diversity and Inclusion Lead at St Paul’s Catholic School, Leicester. Prior to my PGCE, I spent 4 years in higher education at the University of London (Heythrop College and King's College London) studying Philosophy, Theology and Ethics.  

I am particularly interested in conversations between Catholic organisations and LGBT communities and I lead on this work with the various organisations including NEU, Million Minutes, Quest, Diverse Educators, ASCL, NAHT, Just Like Us, Christian Brothers Network and more. I have appeared on BBC Radio Leicester, BBC radio 4 & GB News to discuss the importance of LGBT+ inclusion in Catholic Schools. 

I offer CPD on creating gender inclusive classrooms, teaching RSE/RE, LGBT+ inclusion in Catholic schools as well as trans inclusion in faith/non faith schools. I have availability on Wednesdays.
