You can't take applications from unlicensed motor dealers and you definitely can't pay commission to them if you're claiming 'it's not an introduction'.

Also, until the financial promotion rules change, massively non-compliant websites are a risk that is being ignored and the rules as they exist have to be followed. Especially around disclosure when applications go direct from the website!

Andy joins us with more than 30 years of experience spanning sales, motor finance, consumer credit and the wider banking sector, having held senior roles at organisations including GE, Moneyway, Marsh, Santander and Zopa. Across each of these roles he has consistently delivered growth by combining strong commercial strategy with meaningful, long-term partnerships that create real value rather than short-term wins.

Within the industry, Andy is widely recognised for his relationship-led approach and for building trusted connections across lenders, brokers and key stakeholders. His ability to identify opportunity, align commercial objectives and drive collaboration makes him a natural fit for the next phase of TCG’s expansion. As regulatory expectations continue to evolve across motor finance and consumer credit, strong partnerships grounded in compliance and commercial clarity have never been more important.

Andy will join our Senior Leadership Team, working closely alongside the directors and reporting into Nick and Jon, with a clear focus on developing and strengthening strategic partnerships as we scale.
