I'm Chief Business Officer for Zensai (zensai.com) - where I run Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and GTM.

Throughout my career I've held executive leadership roles in high growth companies of all sizes, including Matterport (IPO) WeWork (near IPO), Salesforce, LinkedIn, Box (IPO), Veritas, and Vera (acquired).

I see founders raise seed money and immediately get premium office space, fancy furniture, all the perks.

Looks impressive, but all of that burns through runway.

Early stage is about building product and talking to users. The office just needs to be functional.

Save the impressive space for when you have serious revenue and sticky customers paying you.

Right now: small room, solving real problems, locked in. let's go!

This is the most senior team I have ever worked with.

At Pit , we use our own platform to build the product.
AI agents handle a lot of the classic junior engineering work.

What is left for humans is the hard stuff.
Designing systems. Making tradeoffs. Deciding what great looks like. Steering agents toward it.

Most AI companies think their biggest problem is competition.
In reality, it’s education.

Enterprise teams know AI is powerful, but they’re staring at a blank canvas.
Everything sounds possible. Nothing feels obvious.

The hard part isn’t “can we use AI?”
 It’s “where do we start, and how do we build this so it survives production?”

The best AI products don’t just ship features.
They teach a way of thinking.
They make the right patterns easy and the wrong ones painful.

In a new market, the ones who educate best, win.
Pit exists so enterprises don’t have to figure this out from scratch every time.

Most people still think of AI as “text in, text out.”
That phase is already over.

Models are moving from text-to-answer to text-to-action.
You don’t ask for a summary anymore, you ask it to close the loop.

“Send the invoice.”
“Fix the discrepancy.”
“Update the contract and notify the team.”

That’s not a helper.
That’s an enterprise worker.

The real shift isn’t better chat.
It’s software that can figure things out and deliver outcomes, end to end.

At Pit, this is the future we’re betting on.

Most AI automations don’t fail because the model is bad.
They fail because it’s looking at the wrong thing.

If you pull the wrong data early in the flow, the whole workflow is wrong.
Right system, wrong record → still a bad decision.

The more we automate, the more brutal the “source of truth” question becomes.
Someone has to decide what is canonical and where it lives.
Most companies still haven’t.

Humans will keep using enterprise systems, but agents will hit them far more often, at far greater scale.
If your source of truth is fuzzy, your automation will be too.

For the last 20 years, "digital transformation" was mostly a UI change.

We moved file cabinets into the cloud.
But the work itself stayed manual.

Domain experts still wake up every day to search, read, copy, paste. 
From System A to System B. 
From Cell A to Cell B. 

AI changes the physics. 

For the first time, we can turn parts of white-collar labor itself into software.
Not just storing documents, but executing the work that surrounds them.

That is a completely different kind of transformation.

The next user of your SaaS isn’t human.

For 20 years, systems of record were designed for one thing:
a human logging in, looking something up, and deciding what to do.

Open Salesforce to check pipeline.
Open NetSuite to check numbers.
Hold the whole mess in your head, then act.

When workflows stayed inside one system, that model worked.
Agents break this model.
They move across Salesforce, SAP, billing, internal tools, and close the loop.

Legacy SaaS was built assuming humans are the glue.
The next wave of software assumes agents are the glue.

That’s a very different design constraint.

Some systems of record will adapt and become rock-solid substrates for agents.
Most will just end up as dumb data stores behind someone else’s agent layer.
