Conducted Screening and Pre-feasibility assessment of greenfield power generation and transmission projects, including regulatory requirements, strategy and schedule, identification of environmental data needs, and establishing/maintaining community and aboriginal relations communications. Also completed first and second level due diligence investigations and reviews for potential acquisitions of generation assets across North America. Key issues were adequacy of existing permits and licences, particularly for air and water, forward looking statements of changes to regulatory requirements over life cycle of facilities and their implications to operations and maintenance, a review of historical public and regulatory sentiment to facility operation, and related issues that may influence operation of the facility.

I am currently leading the planning and development of novel and innovative clean energy projects deploying conventional, unconventional and renewable resources that leverages advanced technologies as hybrid energy systems. 

I have a long and successful career navigating processes and gaining approval for large infrastructure, domestically and internationally. As a registered and certified professional, my role has been to understand the opportunities and limitations in these development initiatives.  Critically, I led the audit team that designed and implemented a technical audit program for 200+ North American design and engineering offices.   My perspective of identifying and managing project or process risk is unique and highly value added.

I bring an open mind with creative and flexible perspectives to manage these processes in the energy, transportation, water, or buildings sectors. I have been directly involved in the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of these projects. My approach is to explore advanced technologies while adhering to fundamental principles of practical application.
