The heavy snow in Paris cheated me today!
It disguised an opportunity as an obstacle...

I went for a run in Paris this morning.
The Scene: -2°C. A frozen Château. A silent forest. 
The Instinct: To stay inside. 

SNOW = a "Barrier." + "It’s too cold." + "It’s too slippery." + "It will slow me down."

The Reality: Once I was out there, the "barrier" vanished...
I didn't find resistance. I found clarity.

The forest wasn't "blocked"; it was peaceful.
The Château wasn't "gloomy"; it was majestic.

The kids I passed weren't "suffering"; they were laughing, turning the "bad weather" into a playground.

The snow hadn't changed. Only my perspective had.

I see this exact dynamic in business every day.

The Barrier Mindset:

Thats a plane.. with a thick black trial.. over the Alps..

I was flying back from Bologna this week.

The View: Breathtaking. Snow-capped peaks. Clear blue sky.
The Scare: I looked out the window. Another plane was flying nearby. But it had a thick, dark trail behind it.

It looked like black smoke. Everyone wondered.. 
The Reality: The pilot came on the intercom. "That's just a contrail shadow." "It's the angle of the sun and the cold air." "Perfectly normal."

It was physics. Not a crisis.

I see this exact dynamic in Sales every single week.

The "Black Smoke" Reaction: 
You have a quiet week. 
A prospect ghosts you. 
You miss one forecast. 
It looks like "engine failure." 
Panic.. change the script... doubt the product.

The "Pilot" Mindset: 
You look at the data. 
You understand the conditions. 
You know that silence is sometimes just a shadow. 
You know that "No" is often just a step toward "Yes."

Don't bail out at the first sign of a shadow.

Keep flying.
