👋 Hi, I’m a founder and builder of things.
My superpowers: business operations, strategy, and leadership.

Over the past 5 years, I’ve built cross-border teams of 50+ people and launched multiple ventures from scratch, and helped tons of operators.

I also failed tons and lost a bunch of money. 
Rebounded. 
Restarted. 

One thing I’ve come to understand about myself:
I’m really good at the “next customer” and “initial traction” stages.

Finland Futures Research Centre (FFRC)

As a futures researcher at the Finland Futures Research Centre, University of Turku, I have strong experience in designing participatory foresight projects including Delphi studies, futures workshops.  As well as teaching and planning regional, EU Horizon and ERASMUS applications. Current projects T-winningspaces 2035, Creative Innovation Ecosystems (ECOCRIN), and Strategic Foresight for Sustainability (SF4S). Previously Academy of Finland funded projects focused on crisis, RESCUE WISE exploring emerging urban future crises &  BioEcoJust, that explored the next 100 years of a just and sustainable bioeconomy transition. Worth mentioning is the the FlxDeep Ventures project that offer futures literacy as a capability to explore organisational change and sustainability, funded and in cooperation with EIT ClimateKiC.

Grassroots urban multicultural organisation. In this role I gave training and tutoring sessions improving creative skills and professional skills. I set up workshop and lecture situations in a multicultural setting. I am part producer, part professional trainer. I Identified learning and development training needs across the organisation. Resulting in exciting training programmes connected with creativity, new media skills and personal development.

Regional Dance Centre of Western Finland

I co produced with two other artists the "Yhteinen klubi" performance art event night at the arts council offices in Turku, conducting a creative practice workshop. It was designed to better network and inspire multicultural artists in the west Finnish region. The Yheinen Rytmi project is funded by the Regional Dance Centre of Western Finland.

Amos Taylor (MA) is a futurist and Project Researcher at the Finland Futures Research Centre. His work has covered topics of crisis and resilience, ethical approaches to futures, future generations and foresight, anticipatory governance, future imaginaries, and facilitating strategic foresight. 

He specialises in developing highly participatory and creative approaches to explore open alternative futures. He has taught and lectured on strategic foresight, as well as media culture related subjects. He has a multidisciplinary background with two master's degrees in Futures Studies from the University of Turku and Media Culture from the University of Lapland; which build on his previous undergraduate studies in design from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London.
