My superpowers: business operations, strategy, and leadership.

Over the past 5 years, I’ve built cross-border teams of 50+ people and launched multiple ventures from scratch, and helped tons of operators.

I also failed tons and lost a bunch of money. 
Rebounded. 
Restarted. 

One thing I’ve come to understand about myself:

Operations Development Manager

Being in charge of Finland operations site and developing its operational processes, tools and way of working. Leading the team of Department Leads, Team Leads, Coaches and Production Specialists by example. Supervising, onboarding, training and coordinating to ensure high quality and productivity, shared standards, working processes and culture in the site.Supporting continuous improvements. Implementing and following up site specific OKRs. Conducting performance reviews for the operations teams.

Finland Site Manager

In charge of the operations site in Finland, overseeing all departments and ensuring communication flow between functions.

Interim Finland Site Manager

-Leading Outbound department of Swappie Helsinki site
-Monitoring and implementing company and department OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)
-Managing the people and performance of the department - creating, monitoring and enabling the achievement of individual, team, and shift performance targets
-Prioritising work for the department and allocating employees to the correct part of the process, ensuring no bottlenecks are created
-Monitoring department FTE/output metrics
-Developing own and team members' skills and abilities, ensuring each person has equal opportunities to receive feedback, support and grow in the company
-Promoting and following the guidelines and processes
-Monitoring and achieving weekly department targets, analysing shortfalls/deviations and taking corrective actions
-Innovating and implementing new process improvements in order to maximise efficiency and quality
-Collaborating with the Site Manager, Team Leads and HR to find the best solutions.
-Being responsible and following up the stock situation, and taking the right actions when needed

Part of my responsibilities include: 
-Oversee day-to-day Outbound operation and performance;
-Set clear team goals and KPIs;
-Do monthly and quarterly evaluations and communicate with team members about their performance;
-Monitor and motivate team members;
-Discover training needs and provide coaching material;
-Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts;
-Execute planning tasks aside with planning team;
-Keeping the workflow up and running by communicating between different departments.

Industrial News Service - INS

My responsibilities include:
- managing key customer accounts;
- preparing and launching international press campaigns for Finnish companies;
- handling communications with journalists and editors from all over the world;
- updating and maintaining the database.

Project Coordinator

Industrial News Service is a commercial news agency that specialises in news distribution to business-to-business oriented media. INS press campaigns are global and cover all areas of business. INS builds bridges between businesses and the trade press. 

I have been working on all stages of press campaigns including research for new media, creation of media lists, maintenance of the media database, distribution of press releases, and follow-up of the campaign.

During the internship I have been working on the FileMaker based database, MailChimp emailing system, and CampSite publishing platform in addition to standard MS Office programs.

CoCreate Life is a Finnish company that is trying to make personal life and work life a stress free zone by bringing individuals in-tune with themselves. 

Amongst my resposibilities were the following:
-brand audit;
-competitor analysis;
-gathering customer feedback;
-pitching innovative ways of attracting more customers.

Marketing Assistant

LBB Solutions OY

I have done my internship for LBB Solutions OY, a Finnish based start-up, producing smart phone applications to ease the communication between local businesses and their customers. 

Responsibilities: 
-marketing LBB Solutions to local merchants;
-introducing new customers for LBB Solutions;
-in charge of offering customer service for the company's clients that I have signed;
-keeping Excel records of the daily activity and CRM;
-reporting on weekly basis the overall activity and performance;
-pitching marketing ideas to the shareholders;
-participating in promotional events;
-finding good advertising deals in the printed press.

Being a small smart-up, the company has helped me have a better view of the overall picture of how a business should be run. I had the oportunity to work or observe how work is done in all the departments of the company.
