Vice President Information Security

(Undisclosed) is a total wealth management firm that provides financial planning and investment management services. (Undisclosed) has a staff of over 900 in 80+ offices coast-to-coast, including financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and investment experts.

I brought order and structure to (Undisclosed) and transformed the entire IT department, including site security programs, information security platforms, and platform selection and management. Led a team of 20 and a $6M budget. Served as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and C-Suite executives. Set the strategic direction across (Undisclosed) and established and administered corporate information security policies and procedures.

Highlights of my accomplishments include:

•	Led an initiative to review current platforms and redevelop them in alignment with business needs. Worked closely with COO and began process of organizing data and managing assets. Saved ~$1M per year and improved processes and performance enterprise-wide. 

•	Directed a migration of 10k records to a new Salesforce platform that enabled the development of new platform features.

•	Steered the rollout of a new comprehensive security program Security as a Service (SOC), policies and procedures, passed audits without any deficiency letters, and reduced the threat of cyber security and phishing attacks by 80%.

I possess a combined experience of 10 years working with a wide variation of aircraft. I began my career working in the United States Air Force on F15E model aircraft, and since then have gained experience with other aircraft. F-16, F-15QA, F-5, A-10, 737, 319, 320, 321 are what I have been able to work on throughout the years.
