Mercer Advisors is a total wealth management firm that provides financial planning and investment management services. Mercer Advisors has a staff of over 900 in 80+ offices coast-to-coast, including financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and investment experts.

I brought order and structure to Mercer Advisors  and transformed the entire IT department, including site security programs, information security platforms, and platform selection and management. Led a team of 20 and a $6M budget. Served as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and C-Suite executives. Set the strategic direction across (Undisclosed) and established and administered corporate information security policies and procedures.

Highlights of my accomplishments include:

•	Led an initiative to review current platforms and redevelop them in alignment with business needs. Worked closely with COO and began process of organizing data and managing assets. Saved ~$1M per year and improved processes and performance enterprise-wide. 

•	Directed a migration of 10k records to a new Salesforce platform that enabled the development of new platform features.

•	Steered the rollout of a new comprehensive security program Security as a Service (SOC), policies and procedures, passed audits without any deficiency letters, and reduced the threat of cyber security and phishing attacks by 80%.

In this role, I built the entire IT department, security program, and teams from the ground up for a rapidly scaling technology company that grew from 150 employees to 500 employees in 2 years. Established policies, procedures, incident response, and crafted a 3-year strategic roadmap to maximize ROI. Led a team of 3 directors, a budget of $6M, and responsibility for all in-house technology needs and services. Hired and onboarded helpdesk and engineering teams. 
Highlights of my accomplishments include:

•	Resolved complex problems by reworking the entire network infrastructure that reduced downtime by 80% and lowered core connectivity costs by 70%.

•	Stood up the information cyber security group and the internal IT team, onboarded 12 employees per week and ensured equipment and infrastructure was in place to support the company’s rapid growth. 

•	Led contract renegotiations with vendors to reduce costs while concurrently increasing overall profitability.

I owned and operated a consulting practice providing general IT, security, networking services and bespoke technical solutions to medical offices, accountants, and small- to medium-sized businesses. Managed all back-end accounting and financial processes. Facilitated technical trainings to employees via in-person and 1:1 virtual sessions.

•	Ensured all security programs and services complied with HIPAA requirements.  
•	Consistently monitored and updated systems to improve overall productivity by 15%.
•	Managed network security using a bottom-up approach, circumventing risk by 40%.

Here, I oversaw a team of 4 providing consulting work for companies and managing IT processes, systems, and programs.  Met with clients to evaluate their unique needs, recommend the appropriate services and solutions, and guide them through the onboarding process. SME for information and computer security. Established disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Highlights of my accomplishments include:

•	Proactively improved and enhanced processes across the organization including reducing waste and decreasing redundancies by enforcing budgetary guidelines, boosting ROI by creating strategic roadmaps, and driving efficiencies by incorporating new technologies, including VoIP and remote desktop.
