Phil My Glass offers a 4 week basic to intermediate level wine course aimed at service staff in the hospitality sector. The goals of the course are for staff to have a more rounded understanding of wine styles, food and wine pairing, wine service and up selling and the wine world in general. The course should give the staff the confidence to talk and recommend wine to customers and therefore improve service and overall experience of guests.
Also offered is consultancy on wine lists to look at balance, value offered to customers and ensuring financial targets are met.

My role involves account management with our existing restaurants and bars as well as developing new relationships. I also educate staff members in our restaurants and bars on our wines and train in giving an overall understanding of the wine world.
