My name is Pamela Ratcliffe, I live in Lancashire, England. After a long career in education with a focus on Catholic education, I am presently working as a freelance consultant supporting schools to complete their Catholic Self Evaluation Documents and developing strategies in schools to support and improve the Catholic life of the school. 
I started my career in the finance department of a local company where I played a significant role in building the department including guiding staff through the process of international payments and exporting. I moved from there to a promotional position as head of wages and HR at another local company. Following this position I completed a postgraduate qualification in Education and then moved to my first teaching position. I then moved from there to a local Catholic school where I initially began as a class teacher and then took on the role of acting assistant head for a period of time. I then took a secondment role working at St Wulstan’s R.C. Primary School, Great Harwood as the acting Deputy Head Teacher. Everyone knows the issues with education, I decided not to moan about them but to take action. I have taken a leap into the unknown,  I am going to use the skills over my years in education and leadership to try something else. I’m not sure what that is yet but I’m excited to find out!!!
