Interim Category Manager - Professional Services Procurement (Environmental Consultancy)

Reporting to the Procurement Director and part of the Senior Leadership and Finance Teams, led the UK&I GNFR Procurement Team of 8, covering HR/Professional Services, Marketing, eCommerce, Business Services, Logistics, FM/Utilities & Shop fit and IT. This included performing a dual role for 6 months as Head of Category and the HR/Professional Services Category Manager and covered an annual spend of circa £1bn.

Head of Category - Goods Not For Resale Procurement  (formally Dixons Carphone)

British American Tobacco

Led the global sourcing team of 5 Regional Sourcing Managers in the procurement and replacement of 5,000 CAPEX and OPEX vehicles pa and project led the sourcing and procurement of Telematics for 22,000+ vehicles covering 100+ countries and 140 cross functional stakeholders. Contributed to and led the implementation of transformational change of the world-wide strategy for the fleet category, covering £140m annual spend and ensuring that complex elements of health, safety and security were fully considered and integrated.

Interim Global Sourcing Manager - Global Fleet Procurement

Operated as a trusted advisor from Project Manager level through to the Executive Board in delivering a two-phase Interim contract.  Took on projects which had fallen behind schedule and brought them back on track to deliver on time, covering Office Fit Out, Alarm Monitoring Centre build, Recruitment Services, and Insurance.  Then built a procurement plan and strategy for Pension Services, Consultancy Services, Banking and Employee Benefits. Both phases covered a contract spend of circa £79m.

Led the global roll-out of new vehicle and fuel policies, engaging all end markets whilst initiating the tender process to enable the supply base consolidation strategy, covering a budget of £140m.
