Ruth Thomson is a coach, mentor and trainer helping people create lives filled with meaningful work, family and freedom. She has an eclectic professional background, from innovation in data science to growing brands with digital marketing campaigns to creating and delivering highly-rated digital training. 

Over the last 18 years, she has had the pleasure of raising millions of pounds for charities, building and leading successful teams, building strategic partnerships between high profile organisations and and grown a digital marketing business and a coaching business. 

She has worked for or with clients at: AstraZeneca, Lloyds Bank, Accenture, Google, Johnson & Johnson, Virgin, BT, Vodafone, the House of Commons, Co-op Food and more. 

She is an accredited coach at Senior Practitioner level with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, one of the three leading coach accreditation bodies. My designs appeared in The New York Times, Goop, Martha Stewart Weddings, Glamour, Architectural Digest and are stilling at Pottery Barn Kids in the U.S. and on Minted.com. Running a one-woman business I got down and dirty launching and migrating my store on multiple E-Commerce platforms, developing relationships with online influencers, speaking at conferences and implementing all kinds of digital tools to help me run the business.

Starting as a junior graphic designer, I worked my way up to a senior art director and played multiple roles. I learned what goes into designing and developing large, complex commercial websites. Working on projects for global companies like General Motors, Vodafone, T-Online and BMW I gained expertise in understanding business requirements, user experience and digital marketing. As a creative project manager I managed teams and developed best-practice processes to guide creatives working with technologists to get websites designed and built on time.
