I work at the intersection of strategic advisory, capital facilitation, and government engagement across Australia and the Pacific region, with a focus on long-term economic development, institutional capability, and nation-building outcomes.

Over the past decade, I have contributed to policy advocacy, advisory dialogue, and stakeholder engagement relating to sovereign finance, infrastructure, and public-interest institutions in Papua New Guinea and the wider Pacific.

From 2012 onward, I was actively involved in advocating for the establishment of a Papua New Guinea Sovereign Wealth Fund, contributing to public discourse, media attention, and engagement with political leaders and institutions. This period of advocacy coincided with the passage of the PNG Sovereign Wealth Fund legislation in 2014 and subsequent steps toward operationalisation.

Earlier in my career, I was involved in foundational awareness and stakeholder engagement initiatives supporting the establishment of the PNG National AIDS Council Secretariat, with activities supported in part through AusAID-funded programs.

Between 1995 and 2000, I played a pivotal role in Papua New Guinea's substantial banking reform, spearheading the shift from conventional paper-passbook banking to electronic banking, debit card, EFTPOS, and ATM systems. Initially with ANZ Bank and subsequently with Papua New Guinea Banking Corporation (PNGBC), I led a team through the implementation phase, which encompassed a nationwide rollout across all 19 provinces. Our responsibilities included onboarding signed merchants, delivering comprehensive training to provincial and district banking personnel, as well as businesses, on leveraging new technologies, and installing EFTPOS and ATM systems, thereby introducing Papua New Guinea to debit card transactions. We completed the formidable and complex task on schedule and within budget. 

My current work is focused on structured, credible engagement with governments, institutions, and partners to support sustainable economic frameworks, capital deployment, and long-term development initiatives across the region. Integrity, transparency, and alignment with international best practice underpin all government- and institution-facing work.
