I coach and advise extensively around career transitions, implement co-op and internship placements, and design and implement career transition supports including workshops, peer to peer connections and employer engagement events. I facilitate overall school-to-work transitions with and for 1,000 students at the Faculty of Information.

Our students are crafting careers in UXD, UXR, Data, Systems Design, Exhibition Design, Libraries, Archives and Information Policy.

Engaged a cohort of 30 international scholars in high-touch career transition programming.

Mentorship:
In 2020-2021, I launched the MCF African Scholars Mentorship Initiative, facilitating mentorship connections between 6 Scholar Mentees, and 7 Mentors. Our Mentors hailed from Canada, Switzerland, Belgium, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa. Our Mentees hailed from Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Rwanda.

Africa-Canada Career Insights and Connections: 
In 2020-2021, I launched the MCF Fireside Chats, where I invited industry professionals from various African nations and Canada to engage in interdisciplinary conversations around specific themes:

Managed the implementation of the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Program, an international work integrated learning program comprising of 5 distinct scholarships offering overseas placements for graduate and undergraduate students.
