I found my life's purpose at the age of 40. Linklaters launched a cohort of lawyers that are “AI Native.” I’m sure we will see hundreds more firms designate their lawyers as AI Superheros. 

Be skeptical. We are still early days and while I applaud firms trying to transform, much of what we see right now is AI marketing theater. 
Lots of talk, some use of AI platforms, not much actual transformation. 

AI isn’t like other software. It requires a fundamental step change in how you approach its use and for a firm, how it benefits the user and customer. You need to be creative and think outside the standard precedent. 

So I’m personally watching for how firms leverage actual practical use cases. 
Not just the marketing clickbait.

Skunks works usually means advanced R&D but I started Thanksgiving week with a friendly visit from Pepé Le Pew! 🦨 

In my part of the world, here in the Midwest, USA, you get skunks. We have a couple that roam our neighborhood. 

If you have a dog, like we do, you know that at some point you are probably going to deal with a skunk spraying your dog unless you are very careful or very lucky. Well, my luck ran out 🤦🏽‍♂️

This guy decided to lose a fight with the worst smell and then bring it into my house! 

Luckily he is safe, most of the smell has now been removed from dog, humans and house. So I guess, on the positive side, I now have another story to tell 😝

Happy Turkey week for those that celebrate 🍗

Egwu Francis is a dedicated, resourceful, and highly motivated law student at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has a special interest in taxation, criminal litigation, arbitration, election petition, international law and human rights.

He is currently designing his legal practice path, as he seeks to be one of the greatest practicing lawyers in the 21st century.

He is an active and full fledged member of the University of Nigeria Students' Bar Association. He is currently a Student Attorney at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. Due to his commitment at the bar, he has led his team to victory in many appearances.

Francis is an excellent legal writer, researcher, and advocate. He has his legal articles and papers published at different top legal sites. He is a good advocate who speaks at different public occasions. He has proven himself to be a good researcher and has worked with many leaders on different projects.

Interestingly, he sought to be at the top of his professional development. He has good administrative skills that have enabled him to beat deadlines at different jobs. He is blessed with excellent communication skills, which have enabled him to maintain good relationships with different people. He is a leader with different leadership positions, such as Director of Events, Programs, and Strategy at IPLC UNN. He was also an honorable member of the LAWSA House of Assembly at UNN before he proceeded to occupy a position at the Students' Bar. He has lots of leadership experience.

Conclusively, he is currently open to internship and mentoring programs that will positively increase his legal career development.
