I found my life's purpose at the age of 40. Yerra Solutions grew at a tremendous pace, from a handful of people in our head offices in Switzerland (Basel), we followed our customers and expanded to the UK (London and Durham), Singapore & Hong Kong, Poland and the US (multiple locations) reaching 300 employees over the course of a few years. 

As a hands-on COO, I was involved in leading the operations of Yerra to ensure growth was sustainable and processes optimised. 
Carried out and updated Target Operating Model for the organisation as we grew and reconfigured. 
Also actively involved in customer work, in a Sales or Delivery capacity, leading or supporting engagements with customers for example. 

Yerra Solutions had 3 complementary activities:

Global COO

Lex Connect

Lex Connect was the first ever LegalTech “smart directory”.
We allowed Legal In-House departments to quickly and accurately identify vendors most suited to their requirements and help resolve their challenges.
 
Lex Connect was the most complete directory of LegalTech solutions (Software, Solution, Consulting) dedicated to the In-House Legal Community.

Instead of traditional directories which just list vendors based on sponsorship level, we designed the Lex Connect “Solution Finder” to identify the vendors most relevant to the specific challenges faced by In-House Legal departments based on:
- pain point
- legal team size
- legal team location. 

Lex Connect was an official part of the ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel). 
Built a solid following and helped dozens of Legal departments identify relevant solutions for their challenges. 

Sold Lex Connect to Yerra Solutions in Q1 2016.

Datacert

Datacert provided "Enterprise Legal Management" solutions for In-house legal functions.

Hired as the 1st full-time employee in Europe, in charge of growing the business in EMEA. 
When I joined, DataCert was successful in the US but had no presence outside of the US.

Overall responsibility for Relationship Management & Sales for the EMEA region.

Quickly established relationships and had the 1st customer within 6 months. 
Upon leaving, DataCert had a full-service presence in Europe and a solid customer base.

The Passport Platform allows legal departments to simply and efficiently manage: costs, risks, matters, cases, projects, knowledge and other aspects related to the smooth running of a legal function.

DataCert was subsequently sold to Wolters Kluwer.

Instrumental in designing and promoting "LawTop", a Matter centric Document Management system based on Documentum technology and aimed at in-house Legal Departments.

Sales Manager

NET2S (now part of the BT Group)

NET2S was a niche Professional Services Firm (2003 T.O. €45 Million) focusing on Financial services (Investment & Retail Banking, Insurance, Payment Services).

Hired as the 1st full-time employee in the UK, responsible for driving sales with Financial customers in the City. 
Over the course of 4 years established a successful practice and Net2S UK grew from a small Regus office with 2 people to a mature organisation. 

Services: range from Audit, Consulting to Integration & systems management. 
Net2s excels in the Management of “real-time” financial applications.

Net2S was subsequently sold to BT.

Business Development

SAGEM

SAGEM is now known as Safran and is a major French industrial player. 

At the age of 22 I was hired to develop sales of fax machines through Retailers & Catalogues in the UK
Drove up and down the UK training staff in retail stores on how to sell fax machines and understanding how could improve and adapt to the UK market. 
Successfully increased sales (of fax machine!) and got our products listed in multiple catalogues.

Sales Executive

Operating at the intersection of Strategy and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Sustainability. 

Our vision at Ascentys is to make ESG assessment, management and reporting more accessible to all companies, regardless of their size. 
Measuring and improving your Sustainability should not be this tedious exercise done just "when I have to" or because you are "forced to do it", we truly believe that ESG should be lens though which modern businesses should run themselves.

So we have developed some serious Tech and processes to make that happen!

Prior to starting Ascentys, I worked with Legal & Compliance functions across Europe, Asia and North America for over fifteen years. My experience includes advising large, global organizations in creating target operating models, selecting the right technologies, gaining cost transparency and executing change management initiatives.

I have built, expanded and ran teams, departments and businesses for the past 20 years. 
I love combining my creativity and logical "right-side" brain to define solutions and strategies, structure plans and execute them. 

I led Elevate’s Strategic Sustainability initiative, working with stakeholders across the organisation as well as outside the company to ensure we continue delivering a positive impact on ESG aspects in which we operate.
