I was promoted to Senior Director of Global Human Resources, reporting directly to the Vice President of Global HR. I led a team of 25 HR professionals across the EMEA and APAC markets. . As part of the Global Leadership Team , I was responsible for designing & driving HR strategies and delivering end-to-end HR solutions. I served as a trusted advisor to executives, providing expertise in performance management, engagement, talent acquisition, retention, and culture. 

Achievements:
Reduced attrition rates across all markets in 2023 from 40% rolling 12-month turnover to 15% through the implementation of a global engagement, retention, and well-being program.

Directed talent development programmes, including global networking and mentoring opportunities, fostering the growth of new & emerging leaders. This initiative enhanced the internal talent pipeline and succession planning, reducing the need for external hires and increasing internal leadership appointments.

Pioneered the establishment of employee resource groups, resulting in an increase in the company's inclusion rate in the employee experience survey from 53% to 71% year-on-year.

Reduced the company's dependency on agency spend through the establishment of the Talent Acquisition department and the implementation of innovative working practices.

Led a transformative two-year process in South Africa, revamping leadership strategies to address poor commercial performance and employee experience.

Effectively defended against employment litigation in the UK, South Africa, Spain and Ireland by implementing robust people policies and managing internal disputes

Managed the process of harmonising the working conditions of 500 employees with the implementation of new employment agreements, resulting in better utilisation of available working hours and reducing the need for overtime pay.

Partnered with the business in mergers and acquisitions and successfully managed the transition of TUPE'd employees.

The regional HRBP for the UK and Ireland and served as a strategic partner and consultant to the senior leaders, collaborating to develop and execute HR strategies that support the business objectives. This role entailed overseeing all aspect for HR Management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development and compensation and benefits with a focus on enhancing organisational effectivenes. 

Achievements:
Designed and led talent development programs that created a strategic pipeline of leaders for new openings and acquisitions.

Collaborated on a project that enhanced workforce planning capabilities by using a forecasting model to identify headcount requirements based on projected revenue. This initiative provided a real-time capability for predicting payroll spend with improved accuracy.

Designed and led a customer-focused development programme aimed at enhancing the guest experience. This initiative also focused on improving the team members' experience to ensure a best-in-class service for guests.
