Body Transformation Vs Health Transformation

Had a great chat with the editor of a well-known London City newspaper about his health and fitness journey. 

• He's a 43-year-old busy professional.
• He has to commute to the office every day
• He has events and lunch meetings
• He has a lot on his plate

He described to me his previous efforts to get in shape.

Over the years, he had been through 2 body transformation programmes with well-known (very good) London-based personal trainers.

He shared his before and after shots; he looked incredible.

But here he was talking to me about his desire to run through a third body transformation programme.

We chatted for a while about his goals, his commute, and his business responsibilities. 

It became clear that the idea of stripping fat, bodybuilding, and dialling in his calories, all for the goal of creating before-and-after shots, wasn't as appealing as it once was.

As we get older, our health goals shift.

We want to be around for our kids, we want to keep doing the things we love, we want to avoid BIG health issues, and we want to be at the top of our business game for the long haul.
