OnBoard Programme

I was selected for one of 12 places to participate in the third cohort of the Onboard Programme.

OnBoard is a not-for-profit organisation set up to broaden the diversity of backgrounds and experience on all types of boards by skilling up and enabling talented individuals who are currently less likely to take on board roles. OnBoard works with individuals in the first ten years of their professional careers.

The programme includes
- Workshops on essential board topics, including the role of the board, legal and regulatory obligations, finance and strategy for board members
- Workshops on the board journey, including identifying individual strengths to bring to a board and the recruitment and application process
- Mentoring from an experienced recruiter
- Mentoring from an established board member

Currently on an academic journey pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree at the London Interdisciplinary School, where I also sit as a student representative on the Board of Directors. I truly believe complex problems require interdisciplinary solutions. That's why I jumped at the opportunity to shape a brand new University focused on just that. The degree programme at LIS will equip me  with a unique interdisciplinary tool-kit and a fresh set of perspectives on how we might tackle some of our most complex societal challenges. Along the way, I hope to uncover where I can combine this with my existing skillset, passions, and talents with a view to re-enter the workforce in 2025.
