I haven’t been active here lately, mostly because I’ve been rethinking my presence on LinkedIn.

Joking. I have just been lazy. 

But yesterday, a conversation with a friend pushed me to think a little deeper.

This whole LinkedIn journey honestly started so randomly that I don’t even remember how or why. It definitely wasn’t intentional.


Over time, I’ve somehow grown this little LinkedIn family (which I genuinely love), but it made me pause and ask myself:


What do I actually stand for here?
What am I known for?



And the honest answer is… I don’t know.


There’s been zero strategy. It’s just been one big open diary of thoughts, wins, rants, confusions and everything in between and strangely, I’ve always been okay with that.


But now, I want to know.

Been pitching to a lot of clients lately, and one thing keeps popping up, pricing becomes the deciding factor.

And this has got me thinking. So here is to all those starting a business. Especially product. 

While pricing does matter (of course it does), it shouldn’t be the only factor.

Here’s why:

Design is your brand’s first touch point.
On shelves, on websites, on social feeds. 
It’s the first thing people see before they know anything about your product.

It has to look trustworthy.
It has to feel trustworthy.
It has to communicate that there’s real effort and intention behind what you’re offering.

And that takes time, skill, thinking, iterations and clarity.

From what I’ve seen working with different brands over the years, when design is done right, everything else becomes easier:

✔️ Marketing performs better
✔️ Conversions feel more natural
✔️ and the brand earns instant credibility.

So yes, pricing matters.

But the value of good design lasts far beyond the invoice. It comes with a cost, but it also has it’s returns!

My favorite part about any branding project is the concept sketching.
