I have been directing, shooting, and editing documentary films for over 27 years, covering various subjects, such as veteran filmmaker Mrinal Sen, maestro V Balsara, famous writers and filmmakers of Calcutta, and environmental and cultural topics. I have also assisted renowned filmmakers Buddhadeb Dasgupta and Gautam Ghose in their productions. My goal is to use my artistic and technical skills to create compelling and meaningful documentaries that inform, inspire, and entertain the audience.

Comments should come from a prepared mind, which is ready to go deep down.

Many of us have watched the film, Titanic. Very few of us asked such questions: "Is there something very complex to handle?" "Did they really take such risks?" Or "Is there any hidden truth in the making which is unknown to us?"

Do we really want to demystify film? Or, do we love to pamper the kids within us and keep watching?

A film goes through different phases :

Pre-production (from developing an idea, storybuilding, to location hunting), production (shooting, etc), post production (editing, etc)

When we watch, story of the film grab us, generally. Many of us love to watch a "story" with characters talking and moving.

This short reel will demystify filmmaking.

This reel of the shooting of Titanic will show the gap between our imagination about the making and the fact.

In their manufacturing unit you will not be allowed to go everywhere and learn each and every small things whereas in service centres you have to work on the automobile and yes you really have to work in some service centres. They will call you in the morning and you have to work there for 5–6 hrs. You'll get to learn there alot. The basic things which we only imagine while reading in books you will work on it and see their workings and importance.

In manufacturing plant most of the work is done by robots.

In service centres you will get knowledge of each part of automobile.
