Here’s the honest part that people need to hear, though...

In 2023 when Jeffrey Zabrin decided to go full-time into recruitment
he expected to do $400k in his first year. 

Double the amount of time so double the billings right?

Wrong.

Our client is looking for an experienced, strategic, and analytical Controller to lead the financial operations in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a deep understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance, going beyond traditional accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Cost & Inventory Accounting: Analyze true product costs, oversee valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, and provide SKU-level profitability insights.
- Financial Analysis & Systems: Deliver forward-looking financial analysis, leverage ERP systems for real-time reporting, and translate complex data into actionable reports.
- Operational & Strategic Partnership: Bridge financial insights with manufacturing operations, support strategic initiatives, and drive process improvements.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a high-performing accounting team, communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, and collaborate across departments.
- Controls & Compliance: Maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance with GAAP, and oversee audit, tax, and financial reporting processes.

Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred), 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience (including 5 years in a leadership role), and a strong background in manufacturing accounting. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. High integrity and sound business judgment are essential for success in this position.
