In 10 days, we’re flying in the entire team across Drip and Sleeknote from all over the world to this amazing place in Malaga (booked exclusively for us)! 🇪🇸

We call it Workcation!

A big part of our team works 100% remotely. In many ways, it works incredibly well. But I truly believe that daily collaboration on Slack, Google Meet, Notion and all the other tools gets a real boost when you actually know the people on the other side of the screen. When you have shared a meal, laughed together, had real conversations.

So we’ve planned a full week together.

Strategy sessions.
Deep work side by side.
Support shadowing. 
Workshops about each other’s strengths, weaknesses and motivations.

And most importantly, time to just hang out, have fun and create memories and moments we’ll talk about for years.

Is it expensive? Ohh yes!
Is it worth it? Hopefully!
Am I excited? More excited than my four kids in December counting down to Christmas!

What a week! 

We’re now back home from our Drip & Sleeknote workcation in Málaga ☀️

Bringing everyone together across teams, countries, and cultures created an incredible energy. A lot of great conversations, a lot of laughs, and time spent talking about where we’re going next.

We spent time diving into product roadmaps, AI sessions, and collaboration workshops. But just as important were the moments in between: walks to the beach, rooftop drinks, karaoke, flamenco show, tapas, and great conversations with colleagues we normally only see on Slack.

I’m a big believer in the idea from the book The Power of Moments that certain experiences stand out because they create elevation, insight, pride and connection. Weeks like this are exactly that! Moments that rise above the everyday and remind you why building something together with great people is so rewarding 🙌
