Dark Spaces

We provide all the equipment and space for you to create your podcasts and talking head videos. Dark Spaces – our ‘Done For You’ studio space where we provide all the studio equipment (lights, backdrops, microphones etc.) you just need to bring your phone and hook it up to our tripod and microphone. It’s a space that could be booked by the hour when needed for you to come in and do your videos in a comfortable, quiet and prepared environment. 

We offer three packages:

Done by you is where we provide all the equipment you need, just bring your phone. You record your own videos in our space and you’ve got it on your phone to use later. In a one hour slot, if you have your scripts ready and rehearsed, you could get between three to five videos done within the hour. That’s potentially a months worth of content! $100 + GST per hour

Done with you is when the same as ‘done by you’ but with an added twist. You can choose to bolt on either a one hour video coaching session to make you look like a star on camera or have one of our editors edit your videos and some cool logo animations, your name popping up and a call to action animation to your videos. $250 + GST per hour

Done for you is exactly that, we take care of everything. You come in with your scripts, we record the video for you using our gear, we coach and direct you through the process and deliver a final edited video for your to use. This package includes two hours of recording time per month and two hours of editing time and of course, the studio. $1000 + GST per session

Structural Engineer at Fraser Thomas Ltd. This job involves investigating damage mechanisms that led to damage/failure of residential buildings, assessing the likelihood of earthquake damage versus historical damage and developing reinstatement strategies to ensure buildings are repaired to a serviceable condition prior the 2010/2011 earthquake events.

In order to develop these reports we had to collect floor levels, wall vertical and report observed damage on site, as well as reviewing Geotechnical reports, underfloor inspection reports and background documents for the subject property.

Along with my regular tasks, I also carried out construction management tasks, foundation assessments; pre-purchase building inspections, draughting etc.
