Nobody reads emails anymore
This is something I often hear.

And yes, we do receive tons of promotional emails every day.
It is hard to differentiate the ones that actually matter.

But take a look at your own inbox.
You’ll find plenty of unread emails…
and also emails you do open (from people you recognize or care about).

So, what am I implying here?

What I believe is more important before dropping a cold email is to think of creative ways to become a warm contact 

Interact with the people who matter 
Read their posts, dropped genuinely interested comments 
Share something valuable with them here on LinkedIn

And then drop an email, this email is not cold anymore 

It’s a testament to knowing them, and that’s why you shouldn’t pitch a product, but a strategy that genuinely helps them.

There are way too many tools out there today.

Every week, there’s a new CRM, a new email tool, a new “AI-powered” platform promising to fix everything.

So how do you choose which tool is best for you?
Before burning $ in unnecessary subscriptions.

From what we’ve seen, the better path is simple:
1. Start by writing down what’s actually broken in your workflow.
2. Then shortlist a few tools that solve that specific problem.
3. Use their free trials (usually between 2 weeks and a month)
4. Test them in your real process.
5. Keep the one that fits naturally.

The best tech stacks aren’t built by chasing tools.
They’re built from experience, clarity, and a lot of small decisions made thoughtfully.

Life is too short to overthink. 

Sometimes the best advice really is Nike’s: “Just Do It.”

I was talking to a friend recently about how AI has changed coding.

Today, it’s less about which coding language you know.
And more about how you think.

AI can write code.
What matters now is knowing what to build and why.

For founders, this changes everything.

You don’t need to be a tech company to be tech-enabled.
Every service business can use AI.

Start small:
Pick one repetitive task
Automate it
Then move to the next

You don’t need a big transformation.
Just one better process at a time.
That’s how real leverage is built.

Most recruitment teams don’t have a “people problem.”
They have a process problem.

When everything depends on manual work, even great recruiters end up spending their day chasing data, switching tabs, and following up late.

In this case, the goal wasn’t to add more tools
it was to design a simple flow where each step feeds the next.

Once that clicked, things changed fast:
 • less chaos
 • faster responses
 • more qualified conversations
 • real time saved every week

Systems don’t replace recruiters.
They protect their time.

Cold outreach isn’t dead.
But blind cold outreach is.

A few years ago, growth meant volume.
More lists. More emails. More DMs.

Today, that same approach feels… noisy.

What’s changed isn’t attention.
It’s intent.

People haven’t stopped buying.
They’ve just stopped responding to messages that show up at the wrong time, with the wrong context.

The shift I’m seeing:
From “Who can we reach?”
To “Who is already in the market?”

Instead of interrupting strangers, the real leverage now is:
Signals
Behavior
Timing

Someone hiring.
Someone searching.
Someone engaging with a problem you solve.

When outreach is aligned with intent, it stops feeling like outreach.
It feels like relevance.

And relevance scales better than volume ever did.

Most people don’t hate sales.
They hate being sold to.
Think about it.

We all enjoy good recommendations.
We like discovering tools, services, or ideas that actually solve a problem we care about.

What we don’t enjoy is being pushed into a pitch before we’ve even been understood.

That’s where most sales conversations go wrong.

Good sales doesn’t start with a product.
It starts with listening.

Understanding context.
Asking better questions.
Learning what someone is trying to solve before suggesting how to solve it.

When the conversation is strategy-first, selling becomes almost invisible.
You’re not convincing; you’re helping someone think clearly.

Positioning matters more than persuasion.
Relevance beats clever copy.
And listening beats talking every single time.

Sales works best when it feels like a conversation, not a transaction.

Be good at making time for yourself.

Being busy doesn’t always mean you’re being productive.

This is something I struggled with for a long time. 
I used to think finishing more work meant I was making progress.

Until I realized something uncomfortable:
work is never-ending. 
No matter how hard you try, there will always be unfinished tasks at the end of the day.

What actually helped was shifting my focus to impact.
I realized I didn’t need to do everything myself.
To do that, many manual tasks had to be delegated or automated.

So here’s a question for you:
What’s one task you could let go of today?

Before scaling outreach, do this once.
Talk to people who look like your ICP.

Not to pitch.
Not to sell.

Just to ask.
“Is this actually a problem for you?”
 “How are you solving it today?”
 “Would something like this even help?”

This step feels slow.
It doesn’t feel like growth.

But it saves months of building, messaging, and outreach in the wrong direction.

Because no amount of clever copy can fix:
A problem that isn’t urgent
A pain that isn’t real
A solution that only sounds good in your head

The best products don’t start with assumptions.

They start with uncomfortable conversations.
If your product genuinely helps, your ICP will tell you.
If it doesn’t, that feedback is still a win.
Research first.
Scale second.

What’s the most useful insight you’ve gotten from talking directly to your ICP?
