By delving into and applying research on leadership, learning and change as an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University, I co-created and delivered a course on executing strategic change in the Masters level program.

If you keep going the wrong direction,
you just end up further down a road...

in a place you don't really want to be.

1. Know the value of your offer:

- What specific outcome do you create?
- Who benefits most from that?
- What is it worth to them?

2. Articulate the challenges you solve:

- What keeps people from creating the outcome above?
- What happens when they solve those challenges?
- How do you help them get there?

3. Sell the right way:

- Pursue people who are ready.
- Build authority with those who aren't.
- Create an effective outreach and nurture process.

Most people focus on the wrong things.

They focus on "Me", "Myself", "My Solution" and "I".

Big mistake.

Sales is about THEM.
