As a Lean & Business Agile Coach, I am part of the team in charge of deploying and evolving the way of working, based on planning through OKRs and follow-up through gemba walks of the top level management. Our work generates impact at departmental and program level, in order to make it scale to an organization of more than 1000 employees.

Key achievements:

- Improved the quality of the objectives and fostered coordination of dependencies, by defining and implementing a quarterly OKR definition cadence for 17 clusters (program level).

- Boosted the sharing of learnings and blockers in the weekly Gemba Walk, by designing a set of best practices for the dialogue between leadership and the clusters based on servant leadership, and coaching both parts.

- Assessed and evolved the way of working by conducting surveys and interviews with key roles, objectivizing the analysis of data obtained and providing insights and recommendations.

- Helped stabilize the cluster model by accompanying and giving support to the cluster leads.

- Got the Finance department to agree on risks and opportunities and focus on delivery, by making them work cohesively across silos and working directly with its leadership team.

- Improved results in bad debts and provisions management by streamlining the communications between FP&A and other teams (Order to Cash, Accounting).

- Enabled the alignment of the work of the teams with the Finance strategic pillars, by providing tools, promoting their self-sufficiency, motivating and engaging people, and making them aware of the right focus and value of their activities.

Lean & Business Agile Coach

Schibsted Spain

In 2015 I moved to the Organisational Development department of Schibsted Spain, overseeing improvement projects and leading change management initiatives across various areas. Based on Lean thinking, I taught to identify customer value and promoted the reduction of costs, delivery time and defects in business processes.

Key achievements:

- Streamlined the Real Estate customer service value chain, halving the number of cases escalated to the Technical Department and reducing the duration and variation of resolution times; by defining standards, harmonising processes and designing dashboards.

- Evangelized the concept of the end-to-end value chain, which served as one of the foundations for designing multidisciplinary teams in the Real Estate service areas; these teams would later evolve into the embryo of Adevinta Spain's future clusters.

- Conducted the Climate Survey for 1000 employees for 2 years, scanning cultural aspects such as alignment, collaboration, leadership or engagement, and achieving participation rates above 85%; by designing a tool that allowed analysis of results in less than 3 days, and giving personalised feedback to all managers across the company.

- Increased collaboration and engagement in the OD team by standardising meetings, using visual management and holding retrospectives; achieving a 40% increase in the average team climate survey rating within 4 months.

- Establishment of SLAs and reduction of lead time in Helpdesk incident management. In 2 months, the response rate in less than 1h went from 30% to 85% and the incident closure rate in less than 24h went from 76% to 86%. The average incident resolution time was halved.

- Simplification of the purchasing process and reduction of lead time in material supply.

Project Manager & Lean Coach

InfoJobs.net

As a Continuous Improvement Consultant at InfoJobs, I pioneered the deployment of the Lean culture among the employees and I was directly involved in the rollout of hoshin kanri as a strategy management tool.

Key achievements:

- Engaged +200 people in transparent strategy cascading and regular progress checks, by designing a portal for visualizing objectives and KPIs in Sharepoint and using gamification techniques.

-Instilled the concepts of continuous improvement, value for the customer, and waste reduction, by training +400 people in hands-on-sessions about the Lean framework.

Continuous Improvement Consultant

As a Security Officer in the Technical Department, I performed the following duties:

-Member of the Security Committee of the company.
-Planning and follow-up of LOPD (Data Protection Legislation) and PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance audits.
-IT infrastructure audits.
-Development of secure configuration protocols and guides.
-Security training to the entire company and development and maintenance of documental repository.
-Physical security management.

Area of Security

As Head of Internal Services in the Operations Department, I was in charge of the incident, problem, change, delivery and configuration management, following the ITIL methodology; I developed a CMDB that we used for several years and created a first version of a service catalog. Our scope included everything related to internal IT (client and server), fixed and mobile telephony, maintenance and related services.

For 6 years I coordinated a team of 4 people that served the internal customer. I actively participated in the development and optimization of workflows of the corporate ticketing system, that ran on TeamTrack.

Among my responsibilities there were also dealing with providers and control of assets, with projects aimed at cost savings.

-Using a wide range of techniques (coaching, advising, mentoring) as needed, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Applying my analytical and structured thinking to map processes and solve problems.

Before promoting to my current job, I developed my career for 11 years at InfoJobs, gaining experience as a technical profile, with responsibilities such as leading the Helpdesk team or being part of the Security Committee. In 2011 I joined the recently created Continuous Improvement team, focusing my value delivery in this field since then.

I have a degree in Information Sciences by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a master degree as Lean Practitioner by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, through the Instituto Lean Management, which belongs to the Lean Global Network. In 2014 I was the InfoJobs employee representative in the European Work Council of Schibsted Group.
