I care a lot about building things that are thoughtful with people’s time, attention, and energy.

I’m a technical product and engineering leader with 10+ years in software. I’ve led engineering teams, taken real ownership of messy internal systems and AI initiatives, and spent a lot of time in the unglamorous, messy middle (my favorite!) figuring out why things break, get slow, or exhaust the people using them.

Over the last few years, I’ve worked as an executive coach for engineers, PMs, and founders. This experience changed how I see organizations. It gave me a front-row seat to where work actually gets stuck. (Un)surprisingly, it's not in the tech itself, but in unclear ownership, misaligned objectives, and communication that has fallen to the wayside.

That perspective has made me sharper about trust, partnership, and how real decisions actually get made.

My free time consists of learning to hip hop dance (still terrible but still having fun, thanks for asking!) and weightlifting. I have a strong affinity for wigs. My favorite will always be when I dressed up as Estelle from the Golden Girls.

I lead as a key strategic thinker and advisor, pre-sales, as well as solutions architect for the top government accounts in Asia. My role is to expand Microsoft’s reach beyond IT departments into non-IT decision makers whether vertically, (e.g., tax compliance investigators, operations and facilities management teams, city planners, etc.) or horizontally (e.g., procurement, policy writing and research, training teams, etc.).

I have deep interests in Public Finance, Smart Cities + Government Operations & Infrastructure, and Public Health and Social Services in the Asia region.

I led as a worldwide public sector strategy director, with a keen specialization in the Asia Pacific region. 

A core part of my role is to Dream, Design, & Deliver digital transformation and acceleration for Microsoft's public sector customers.

- Imagine new innovative ways that will boost their strategic oversight, governance, and public policy competencies;

Industry Digital Strategist / Strategy Director, Worldwide Public Sector- Government | Asia

I led a regional public sector team (across government, health and education verticals) with deep focuses in understanding and analyzing the key economies of Asia Pacific (and major global countries) to provide insights through a technology lens to policy makers, technology investors and leading corporations. 

This includes enterprise IT market research, agile change management and innovation-based consultancy, as well as public speaking experiences across several public sector events. 

Collaborates and lead analyst teams across various technology and vertical groups globally to ensure our analyses are continually relevant and compelling.

My specialties include managing digital government research and strategy advisories, driving industry-partnerships and knowledge ecosystems, pre-sales and business development as well as advocating for digital transformation innovations.

Over 2 decades, I have specialized in managing digital foresight and innovation strategy programs and provided government CXOs and senior leaders with evidence-based advisories around agile governance structures, change management transformation, next-gen procurement, as well as helped shaped policy and regulations to facilitate the attainment of government digital outcomes.
 
Previously I was the Director and Head of Asia Pacific Public Sector at IDC for 9 years (+4 years earlier) and spent 5 years with the Singapore government in both IDA and IDA international where he did multiple government-to-government digital change management engagements for the governments of Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Kenya, Trinidad & Tobago, and Indonesia. I hold a Master of Business (Information Technology), with distinction, from RMIT University.
