Hi, I am Garvit Arora, a digital marketing agency owner & an E-COMMERCE EXPERT.

Back in 2015, when I jumped into the world of online marketing, I was very fascinated with E-Commerce and always had a desire to learn & getting deep down into it.

When this happens, the majority of us start blaming the platform first. Is there a new update or algorithm change?

And we completely ignore one critical factor.

What if it's the market?

Look, I get it. It's easier to blame Meta. And high chances are you might be right.

The platform is unstable. And updates are constant.

But here's where we mess up...

We become so indulged in platform optimization that we ignore market movements.

Think this way:

> Your competitor dropped their prices while you were testing ad copy variations.

> Consumer confidence shifted while you were debating CBO vs. ABO.

> Your product's seasonal demand peaked earlier than last year while you were analyzing pixel data.

The market doesn't care about your campaign structure.

And sometimes your ads are working just fine. The platform is delivering. 

But your offer just isn't competitive anymore.

I'm not saying platform issues aren't real. They absolutely are.

But we've trained ourselves to look at dashboards first and market signals last.

Maybe the algorithm didn't change.

Maybe the game did ;)

There are 3 conversion killers.

They are so basic that many brands ignore them.

I review 5-10 product pages every week for fun. And most pages with terrible conversions follow a pattern.

The problems are always the same:

1/. You assume visitors understand why your product is better

They don't.

"Handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver."
"Premium Cork Material."
"Organic Cotton Fabric."

So what? Every competitor says the exact same thing.

Your visitor has 6 tabs open. They're comparing you to Amazon and two competitors. You have 3 seconds to show why you're different.

"Won't tarnish after 3 showers like plated jewelry does" beats "925 Sterling Silver."
"Supports cats up to 15kg without collapsing" defeats "Premium cork material."

State the actual difference. Not the feature.


2/. You lead with features instead of the problem you solve

I see this constantly.

Product pages listing materials, dimensions, color options. But zero mention of what problem this solves.

Most scratchers collapse when cats are over 8kg. Lead with that problem. Then show how your 15kg capacity solves it.

Plated jewelry tarnishes in weeks. Lead with that frustration. Then explain why sterling silver doesn't.

Your customer isn't shopping for features. They're shopping for solutions to specific problems.


3/. You make customers hunt for social proof

Reviews buried at the bottom. Star ratings without context. Customer photos in a separate tab.

Why are you hiding the one thing that builds trust?

If I have to scroll past 3 sections to see reviews, I'm not scrolling. I'm bouncing.

Put customer reviews in the first scroll. Show real photos of your product in use. Make trust visible immediately.

Don’t just get obsessed with getting more traffic.

Fix clarity first. Then scale traffic.

How do you scale a winning Meta ad set without killing performance.

"Should I duplicate my winning ad set or increase the budget?"

This fear of "resetting the learning phase" keeps many founders stuck at small budgets.

The hardest ecommerce truth is...you cannot scale without some volatility.

If you want to go from ₹50k/day to ₹1lac/day or even higher, you will break things.

But there is a safer way to do it.

We use the "Velocity Scaling" method:

1/. The Safe Route

Increase budget by max 20% every 24-48 hours.

This usually reduces the chance of re-entering the learning phase, though it's not guaranteed.

Though the Downside is - It's slower. Depending on your frequency, it can take 1-2 weeks to double your spend.

2/. The Smart Route

You need to set a rule: "Increase budget by 10% if ROAS > 3x (today)."

Run this check every 24 hours. It scales automatically when performance is good and holds when it's bad.

3/. Aggressive Growth

This is how we scaled a brand to ₹2.7 Cr with 6.8 ROAS. Ignore the learning phase on the original ad set.

Launch a new CBO campaign with your winning creatives.

Set a Cost Cap (Manual Bid) at your target CPA. Give it 5x your usual budget.

If Meta can deliver near your target CPA, it spends. If not, delivery will be limited rather than blowing through cash.

You control the bid. You tighten the risk.

Stop treating your ad account like it's fragile. The algorithm adapts much faster than you think ;)
