On a more personal note, I’m married and have 2 daughters, a dog, two rabbits and a hamster.  

When not spending time with my family, being active is a lifestyle and a part of my being.   Running, biking, weight lifting, mountain climbing, hiking, snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, wakeboarding, golfing, building stuff, fixing stuff, home remodeling, and lawn care fill my personal time.

Closing in on 20,000 connections, seems like a good time to reintroduce myself.

From small-town roots to the tech world.
I grew up in Mid-Michigan. Winters were for shoveling snow. Summers for building pole barns. Friday nights? High school football.

Later, I made my way to the University of Colorado Boulder, convinced I was going to be a pro snowboarder.  (Spoiler: I wasn’t. But it was a great ride.)

I fell into sales because I needed a job.
I stayed because I fell in love with the game.
And I’ve never looked back.

I went all in with books, podcasts, psychology, strategy. If it was about sales, I was studying it.

But beyond the grind, I had something else:
Incredible mentors.
I spent nearly 3 years side-by-side with Townsend Wardlaw. Boss, coach, friend. He invested in me. Time, money, and belief.

At just 22, he hired me a sales coach: Lorna Donovan.
That changed everything.
Two leaders. One mission. I listened. Learned. Leveled up.

From there, things accelerated.

Not only have they dominated in the indoor mapping industry for the last decade with mega clients like Simon Property Group, but they have quietly been dominating the sports market for the past 5 years, and their client list is impressive.

This is the classic example of how large tech firms are slow, like a cruise liner, and smaller tech start-ups are fast and nimble like a ninja. 

There will be a day, mark my words, where a sales rep can log into Salesforce or HubSpot, go to an Account, click to download contacts and it pulls Clean and Accurate data using tools like Clay. 

Then your AI Prospecting Agent is basically pre-built and ready to start prospecting for you based on predefined company information, news articles, press releases, financials, etc.

It's great that all these tools integrate with one another, but I'm ready for the evolution of sales data, agents, and automation to be here, all in once place.

I'd build it myself, but by the time I was done, it would be outdated!

When the National Football League (NFL) made the decision 3 years ago to standardize biometrics across the league with Wicket, they weren't adopting new technology because it was "cool" or "new and exciting".  

They were adoption biometrics because they couldn't scale security or credentialing without it.  

Having the opportunity to attending Major League Soccer's Annual Security Meeting this week left me in shock and awe of just how much goes into protecting not only the Fans, but the Players, Staff and Referees.

The level of coordination, planning, strategy and prevention is truly impressive.

Really changes the way the way you think about the games we attend as Fans.

College sports has one of the most unique challenges as it relates to Ticketing.

How to handle 10,000 - 20,000 students showing up right before kickoff.

-Huge rush to the gates
-Fights, pushing, shoving
-Intoxication 

But there is a silver lining - every student has 1 ticket assigned to them.  Which means 1 ticket scan.

Wicket speeds up ticketing by 4X by using a simple scan of your face, and you're on your way.
