Telular AMETEK

As the Sales Engineer for SkyBitz Asset Tracking & Tank Monitoring division, I drove IoT-based revenue growth and expanded our client base by providing technical support, solution design, and planning that aligned with customer expectations. In March 2020, I also took on the role of interim Product Line Manager for Tank Monitoring, overseeing the development of multiple hardware and software products within the division's IoT portfolio. Leveraging my customer relationships, I optimized our product development process to align with the latest IoT market trends and requirements.

Key achievements

➤ Successfully closed $1MM+ deals with major Fortune 500 clients including Shell, Baker Hughes, Reladyne, Chevron, and GEA.

➤ Optimized the division’s strategic product roadmap by identifying growth areas, creating differentiating features and help drive product adoption by simplifying the customer journey.

➤ Developed business case with product enhancement objectives and obtain buy-in from senior management, product, finance and operational leaders.

➤ Drove early sales discussions on architecture and engineering, particularly with explaining the SkyBitz Platform along with coordinating integration with existing customer system via APIs. 

➤ Rapidly identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process

➤ Managed the development and launch of multiple IoT hardware and software products including low cost asset monitoring, Business Intelligence Dashboard and Satellite based asset tracker.

Expotech USA Inc

Manage the sales and growth development strategies of a $5 MM petrochemical and medical sciences global territory with ownership of B2B accounts for both public  and private sector organizations while ensuring regulatory compliance such as ITAR(ECCN Classifications) GSA and FDA requirements.

➤	Leveraged expertise in data streamlining and best practices to widen the customer base and improve sales processes, including benchmarking competitors and implementing tailored CRM software. Through strategic leadership, drove a 40% increase in new clientele and an additional $1.2MM in sales.

➤	Increased quarterly sales by 25% for FY2016 and maintained sales deliverables for FY2017 despite downturn in Energy Markets while upgrading distributor contracts with key suppliers.

➤	Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, and sales channels on procurement planning including equipment selection, pricing negotiations, Work break down structures(WBS), system bill of materials (BOM), logistics channels and equipment installation/training syllabi

Sales Engineer

Dervesh Hospitality Consultants

Dervesh Hospitality Consultants was a family entrepreneurial venture based out of Houston with business offices in Pakistan, My responsibilities included the overview of  IT infrastructure, Cyber-security and engineering requirements for hospitality acquisitions valuing over $40 MM, with responsibility of forecasting and analyzing financial data to drive revenue. 

➤	Carried out appraisals, feasibility studies, operational reviews, impact analyses, and economic impact studies for hospitality projects to outline potential business opportunities for investors.

➤	Coordinated with Partner firms to operate project sections within I.T. and Engineering sectors through Design Incubation & Blueprint prototyping using input from clients and subject matter experts.
 
➤	Created and executed program budget and scheduling plans to improve productivity, efficiency, and reduce overhead costs along with business process engineering to increase client property revenue.

➤	Coordinated with cross-functional distributed project teams and investors along with carrying out traceability and monitoring of project deliverables

Business Analyst

Centre for Advanced research in Engineering.

Participated in the development, system analysis & requirements elicitation of a $5 MM project for an embedded software deployment on the Texas Instrument Digital Signal Processing platform, in addition to improving algorithms and refining/balancing parameters including memory usage, processor cycles, reduce input/output cycles, and code size reduction 

➤	Led a team of design engineers and programmers on developing a voice compression encoding/decoding module that implemented MIL-STD-3005 on the Texas Instruments DSPs, resulting in a 400% processing time 

➤	Conducted testing on performance verification, field support, and deployment (IVTD) cycles on multiple project modules through adaptation/fusion of pre-existing and new code, pre/post integration

Design Engineer

➤ Conducted research on voice compression algorithms for use on digital signal processors.

➤ Researched techniques for C language usage on embedded systems and tested Mixed Excitation Linear Predictive Encoder for real-time applications.

➤ Developed skills on platforms such as Code Composer Studio and MATLAB for the implementation of   fixed point algorithm on various Digital Signal Processors including TI C6x Series.
➤ My research and final source code provided a platform for further research and development and led to an invitation from C.A.R.E to continue development on my project as an employee at the firm.
