Over my life, I've realized most people don’t lose sleep over money itself.

They lose sleep over the questions money represents.

Questions like:

• What happens if life throws a curveball and I can’t work?
• How do I retire comfortably and with peace of mind?

My background is intentionally interdisciplinary.

I’m a CPA, a Robbins-Madanes certified coach, and I bring over 13 years of experience spanning:

Under the exclusive direction of the Commissioner, independently analyze, research, evaluate and monitor the overall budget and operations of Tarrant County government and provide oversight to Commissioners Court appointed governing bodies. 

-With proper use of privileged, sensitive and confidential information, researches, develops, recommends and analyzes positions, proposals, policies, and programs for presentation or opposition by County Commissioner to Commissioners Court. 

-Supervises staff under the direction of the Commissioner. 

- Negotiates, persuades, mediates, and assists local, state and federal governments and private entities regarding County related issues. 

-Ensures implementation of Court directives following Commissioners Court meeting. 

-Represents County Commissioner in directing department heads in County policy development and compliance including serving on policy development committee. 

-Monitors and analyzes media and public opinions.  Develops and recommends responses, programs and positions. 

-Researches, addresses, and resolves various internal, external and intergovernmental inquiries, problems and complaints. 

-Assists County Commissioner in drafting, proposing, securing  sponsors of  legislation.  Supports/opposes, analyzes, testifies for/against and track legislation. 

-Develops and administers Interlocal contracts with other governmental entities; ensures compliance with policy and applicable law. 

-Maintains understanding of existing and new State and Federal laws and regulations especially pertaining to purchasing, personnel, precinct  operations, and all other relating to County operations.

Maintains the duties of the Community Inclusion Coordinator.  Ambassador for the City Manager's Office.  Creates strategies and initiatives for community engagement and inclusion.  Informs CMO, faculty, and community  on legislation.  Strategizes and collaborates with lobbyists, CMO, staff and other entities to implement City's legislative agenda.   Fosters and maintains relationships with delegation, elected officials, and community stakeholders.

Collaborated with Major crimes and Superintendent's office to address and investigate school threats.  Assigned and approved cases of other SRO detectives.

Diligently patrolled areas and enforced city ordinances and state laws with careful implementation.  Appointed to the Burglary task force.  Investigated and arrested Burglary teams with the use of surveillance, interviewing, and investigation.  As part of the Deployment team, strategized and coordinated the arrest of parole and probation violators.  Utilized surveillance, covert training, and interview techniques.

Texans Can Academies

Lead staff and students to great outcomes and removed barriers that prevented success.  Brought attendance from 70%-90%. Addressed various issues from gang intervention, staff and student performance, and other issues pertaining to education.
