IT PARK Uzbekistan

Together with IT PARK’s startup department I’ve launched the first regional corporate startup accelerator «AloqaTech Lab». It’s focused on projects in FinTech, eCommerce, CloudTech, AI, and other fields.

I’ve built my network with 8 international VC foundations (with $4,5B investment capital in total), and other ecosystem players (leading startups, mentors, top local international universities, media, and IT enterprises).

As a mentor, I participated in 2 hackathons and coached local startups on business models, product development, product-market fit, business values, monetization, and blockchain.

In the frame of collaboration with the enterprise sector, I’ve developed a concept of a 5-week community building & educational project «IT Lab»

Startup ecosystem builder

Huawei

I’ve built and maintained an ecosystem bridging Huawei's BUs with external international communities (represented by ICPC, IMC, Kaggle, and others, their members and leaders, top universities, professors). Following this strategic goal I managed 2 main directions:
(1) building a series of online & offline contests with 100+ participants each, worldwide and powered by Huawei HQ.
(2) cooperation projects with top ICPC teams in leading universities (St. Petersburg, Moscow, N. Novgorod, Minsk)

As a result significant R&D breakthroughs were made on the corporate level in 3 fields:
- Big data
- Cloud tech
- Integer programming
Also other smaller problems solved were in the spheres of math modeling, and optimization.

International projects lead | Talent ecosystem builder

End-to-end I’ve developed, launched, and promoted an HRM web-based system bridging external communities and in-house multi-level recruitment and hiring management structure. This solution structured and increased the incoming CV flows from zero to 120+ items per month in 5 Huawei R&D centers (in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, N. Novgorod, and Minsk).

I managed HR brand appearances at the most prestigious programming competitions (ICPC) in 6 cities. This helped Huawei R&D become a Top 3 employer (according to external feedback).

HARBOUR.SPACE

I managed, produced and coordinated The 1st Hello Muscat Programming bootcamp. It was a one-time and one-of-a-kind project. Its key metrics were:
- 120 top ICPC participants & 4 top ICPC coaches
- from 24 universities
- from 11 countries (Oman, Japan, Poland, South Korea, Spain, USA, Qatar, Russia, Lebanon, Jordan, India)
- Location: Muscat (Oman) + online participation

The project was powered by Phaze Ventures a venture capital company in Muscat (Oman) and was held at German University of Technology in Oman.

My key contributions:
- developed my own CRM-system & budget planning tool
- 50+ negotiations with foreign counterparties, universities, and participants
- attracted 48 foreign participants from 9 countries
- sales: up to €12 000
- budget optimization: up to €20 000
- made 3 podcast interviews with the participants (from Oman, India, Russia)

Lead Project Manager

FunCorp

- Negotiated with the university and picked the best students from Machine Learning & Data Science courses
- Formed 2 teams (7 people) for Machine Learning & Data Science training from scratch
- Found and adopted appropriate educational program for the teams
- Organized and launched training process during 3 months
- Managed the 2 teams developing a special ML feature for the company's product

The feature we worked on with the 2 teams was to automatically generate natural-language-looking  HTML <title> strings for a mass of web pages (for SEO goals) using methods of machine learning and data engineering.

As a result, the solution we had built from scratch was applied in production.

- Developed my own methodology and training program for competitive programming teams
- Formed ICPC teams (50+ team members) from the best students of the university
- Developed my own teams' progress tracking system
- Organized and followed up training activities and tracked the teams' progress
- Conducted 100+ training hours for ICPC teams
- Organized a local bootcamp with the mentor from MIPT
- Organized participation of the best teams in the international programming bootcamps (in Spain, India, Oman)
- Produced the community and teams in local media (see the related links below)
- Co-organized programming contests (150+ participants) in collaboration with the host university and leading local IT companies
- Blogged about the ICPC community and teams' achievements

As a result, the local ICPC community was reborn and spawned the teams with the highest achievements in competitive programming in the history of the region.
