Investment banker by trade, I am a skilled and dedicated professional with a passion for driving business growth and building successful ventures. Over 15 years in investment banking with Morgan Stanley, Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BoML), and HSBC in London, I honed my expertise in M&amp;A, financing, advisory, corporate finance, and real estate.In 2017, I transitioned to founding my own debt capital advisory company in London, advising real estate developers and investors on securing finance to build and acquire real estate assets in the UK and Europe. Our firm provided a hands-on approach from deal structuring, sourcing of the capital, negotiations with lenders, due diligence, up until the closing of the transaction.Recently, I launched pX, an AI-driven platform built to transform how institutional players, brokers, and developers access and evaluate opportunities in the UAE and Saudi real estate markets. At pX, we are creating decision-ready storylines from fragmented data — turning static information into actionable insights that empower capital allocation and development decisions across the region.Beyond my professional work, I am committed to giving back to my community and supporting the next generation of business leaders. London based property finance boutique providing funding solutions for real estate whether it is the acquisition of a property, the recapitalisation of a portfolio or property development.

Call me crazy, but despite the geopolitical tension in the region, we are doubling down on building.

At pX, we are about to launch our first product. We already have early traction, customers on board, and pilots being deployed.

Now we are looking for a co-founder to join the journey.

Ideally based in the UAE or Saudi, though not a strict requirement.

We are looking for a builder. Someone who can turn ideas into execution. Roadmaps, processes, product and commercial momentum.

Early stage means roles are fluid. 
One day product, the next strategy, the next a client conversation. 
You need to be comfortable operating across the board.

Experience in real estate / proptech, understanding the Dubai or GCC market, and curiosity around tech and AI would be a strong plus.

You should also be comfortable pitching, structuring ideas, building decks and engaging with partners and investors as we grow.

We already have momentum. 
Now we want to ship faster.

I arrived in Dubai two years ago with four suitcases and my dog.

I left everything behind in the UK to follow a dream.

But it was not just my dream. 
It is what Dubai represents.

A success story. 
A place where people are given the chance to build something meaningful.

I have not been here for twenty years. 
I cannot claim the same deep attachment many people have when they proudly call Dubai home.

But in a relatively short time, something happened.

I started to feel at home.

Naturally.

When I walk the streets. 
When I meet people. 
When I work. 
When I spend time with friends and family.

That is the beauty of this place. 
Dubai is an ecosystem designed to welcome people from different backgrounds and give them the opportunity to thrive.

Over the past two years I have been building here, learning, meeting incredible people and growing along the way.

And today, more than ever, I am committed to staying here.

Because I genuinely believe this is the place to build.

Moments like the ones we are experiencing in the region reveal the true strength of leadership.

Anyone can look good when everything is smooth. 
The real test comes when challenges appear.

Leadership is judged on performance.

So far, the UAE and Dubai have delivered.

They not only talk the talk. 
They walk the walk.
Quietly and consistently working behind the scenes to protect the country and ensure life continues despite the difficult events.

As a founder building a company, I know how important leadership and systems are. 
Nothing works without them. 
Solid foundations and systems are what allow organisations and countries to withstand pressure.

And what we see here is exactly that.

Strong leadership. 
Strong systems.

Life in Dubai continues, far more calmly than some of the noise circulating online might suggest.

I still walk my +10K steps every day. 
I go to the gym. 
I see friends and family. 
I try to live my life as normally as possible.

And yes, I feel safe.

That feeling comes from trust in the leadership and the systems that protect this country.

So yes, we are still here.

Still building. 
Still working. 
Still believing.

And I do not plan on leaving anytime soon.

My only wish is simple.

That peace prevails. 
And, that we can all continue living and building together.

Great to have attended the PropTech Elevate Session organised by the Dubai PropTech Hub, and the DIFC Innovation Hub.  

Kudos to Luke Graham for putting the session together and bringing the right mix of ecosystem stakeholders into the room.

For me, the real value was the conversations.

Exchanging notes.
Sharing scars. 
Listening properly.
And, taking notes. 

Because that’s how you gather intelligence.

Intelligence about where capital is moving, what customers actually pay for, and why certain models fail.

And that intelligence is what reduces mistakes along the way. 

Not by trying to dominate the conversation.
But by understanding how others see the market, where they’ve struggled, what worked and what didn’t.

It’s rare to find spaces where you can speak honestly, without judgement, and learn from people ahead of you.

Building can be isolating. 
Conversations like this reduce blind spots and sharpen your thinking.

That’s the real takeaway.

A question I was asked this week about pX: 

“If you’re about to onboard paying customers, and revenue can cover your operating costs, why raise funds?”

It’s a fair question. 

That logic works in certain models.

It works when onboarding is frictionless.
It works when deployment is predictable.
It works when environments are standardised.

B2B infrastructure is not that.

At pX, we are deploying into live organisations.

That means working inside existing systems, processes and constraints.

Different systems.
Different data structures.
Different workflows.
Different constraints.

Nothing is ever as “standard” as it looks from the outside.

Revenue can cover cost of sales.

That is not the issue.

The real cost sits in deployment.

Moving from pilot to paid customer is not about switching on billing.

It is about velocity.

Velocity in resolving friction.
Velocity in iterating. 

If velocity drops, pilots stall.
If iteration cycles drag, momentum dies.

Deployment at this stage runs in parallel across accounts.

Feedback loops run in parallel.
Integration challenges surface in parallel.
Adjustments are required in parallel.

A single technical co-founder cannot absorb that load alone.

You need a team ready during onboarding to preserve integration quality and speed.

That is what the funding is for.

Funding at this stage is not about covering burn.

It is about preserving velocity during the transition from pilot to production.

That is what converts early customers into durable revenue.

Entrepreneurship is the ultimate test of character.

It’s a test of conviction.

This game will punch you in the face.
No funding.
No support.
Delays.
Doubt.
“But what if…”
“But the market…”
“But the competition…”

Noise.
Constant noise.

You will be tested to the core.

If you don’t have conviction, you will quit.

Most days you will be exhausted.
Most days you will feel alone.
You will question yourself.

You climb one mountain.
Another one is waiting.

There is no cruise control.
No comfort.
No real pause.

It’s pressure.
Push. Push. Push.

What carries you through that is a deep, internal belief that you are onto something.

Not hype.
Not ego.
Not arrogance.

Conviction.

The kind that makes you stand up after the 50th setback.
The kind that keeps you building when no one is clapping.
The kind that filters out opinions from people who don’t give a sh*t about you. 

You listen.
You stay humble.
You pivot. 

But you do not abandon your core belief every time someone says “this won’t work.”

If you need consensus, this isn’t for you.
If you need comfort, this isn’t for you.

Building requires a level of conviction most people simply do not have.
