Within 18 months, we'd reduced their company stock exposure to just 7% while building a diversified, tax-efficient portfolio. We used both spouses' CGT allowances, timed sales around vesting dates to avoid unnecessary tax, and wrapped the proceeds in ISAs and pension contributions.
