•	Analyzed data and wrote reports, when needed and/or requested.

•	Collaborated with the graduate program director of Disaster and Emergency Management Dept as a Research Assistant in a grant-financed project titled “Is Climate Change Affecting Rideau Canal Skateway, the World’s longest Skating Rink, and How?”
•	Assisted that socioeconomic environmental research grant by gathering data from sources such as National Capital Commission (NCC) Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), and the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); analyzing data using Excel and STATA; and writing reports.
•	Co-authored a journal article published by Springer in the special issue of Natural Hazards to commemorate 150 years of Canadian Federation. The study provides valuable insights useful for planning and decision-making process around World’s longest Skating Rink as a cultural heritage. (https://doi.org/10.1007/s11069-018-3459-9)

•	Conducted a quantitative research on the contributing factors to the declining trend of fatalities in the case of a chronic natural hazard using STATA for statistical analyses and regression models.
