Navigant's Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets practices provides strategic consulting services to some of the world's leading insurance, banking, and investment management firms.

I coordinated project staffing for the team and managed our practice training program in addition to providing support in on-boarding, data management and reporting, and contingent staffing.

In my time with Navigant, I:

- Facilitated effective resource management to ensure strong project teams and high utilization
- Coordinated with over forty project managers to determine project staffing
- Managed a training program to provide regular opportunities for professional development
- Coordinated the development of new trainings
- Documented requirements and conducted User Acceptance Testing for a resource management tool implementation
- Managed the development of a firm-wide skills database; led meetings with senior leadership to finalize a list of 1,000 skills and competencies tailored to the needs of four unique segments
- Developed a model to examine the impact of changes to a utilization-based bonus program
- Maintained and communicated revenue projections, staffing data, and financial data
- Assisted in the planning and execution of an overnight All Hands Meeting for 100 staff
- Improved internal bio formatting and conducted bio campaigns for over 150 staff
- Created and maintained a database to track over 90 data points for 100 staff and contractors 
- Redesigned the practice onboarding process
- Trained all new hires in the staffing process

Practice Area Business Analyst

AimHire

AimHire Denver is a young and rapidly growing recruitment firm that connects talented candidates with excellent opportunities in some of Denver's top companies.

My role was to serve as AimHire's gatekeeper and front office presence. I also managed a variety of Human Resources and Administrative Support responsibilities for our office, including new hire processing, I-9 management, background and drug screen processing, data management, reference checking, and payroll assistance.

I improved a variety of Front Desk processes by:

- Increasing our level of communication with candidates
- Creating a full Employee Manual for both internal staff and field employees
- Developing resume templates to assist jobseekers
- Constructing an online parking guide for employees working downtown
- Producing an employee tracker to enable Staffing Managers to locate strong candidates 
- Creating web content for AimHire's new website, including descriptions and biographies
- Contributing weekly to the AimHire blog

Staffing Coordinator

International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission exists to rescue and restore victims of violent oppression and transform public justice systems to prevent further abuse. 

IJM's field office in Manila began 2013 with ambitious recruitment goals. I took the lead in the talent search process by developing and posting job descriptions, vetting over 1,000 resumes, conducting nearly 200 screening calls, and arranging over 100 in-person interviews. Seventeen new staff members joined the team during my internship, nearly doubling the size of the office. 

To standardize hiring, I designed tailored interview questions and developed the office's best practices for recruitment. In order to help our new staff as they transitioned, I also created a holistic employee manual and designed and implemented IJM's first official 3-day orientation event.

During my ten months with IJM in Manila, I developed skills in leadership, improving office recruitment strategy and effectiveness, and thriving in a cross-cultural context.

Administrative and Human Resources Intern

Before joining IJM in the field, I served as a member of its competitive internship program in Washington, DC. 

During my internship, I redesigned and updated the onboarding materials currently used at headquarters and in all global Field Offices for new Interns and Fellows. I also assisted nearly every member of the Human Resources team with various projects, including creating the 80 page report analyzing IJM|Orientation feedback, generating recruitment ads to advertise the Internship & Fellowship program, and assisting with the logistics for one of IJM|Orientation’s most vital events. 

International Justice Mission is a well-respected international organization that invests heavily in the development of its interns. I benefited greatly from the chance to grow as a professional and learn from experts in the fields of Human Rights and Human Resources.
