Target sent a teenage girl pregnancy ads before she knew she was pregnant.

Her father stormed into the store furious about baby coupons.

Two weeks later, he called to apologize.

The algorithm detected the pregnancy before her own body told her.

Here's what they're tracking:

→ Your typing speed drops by milliseconds when you're getting sick

There is some absolutely unhinged shit happening in the world right now and it's enough to make anyone feel unsettled.

Now, there's a whole conversation to be had about how this is intentional,

How people in fear and uncertainty are easier to control, 

And how a divided population turns a blind eye to what's really happening. 

But this post is about you.

The most important thing all of us can do during this time is to take care of ourselves and our communities. 

It's like how airplanes tell you to put on your own mask before helping others, 

Same applies here. 

In times of chaos and uncertainty, the most important thing you can do is the basics: 

Eat healthy food. 

Exercise. 

Sleep. 

Connect with people in real life. 

And show a little bit of compassion and kindness for people around you. 

Everyone is going through it right now and most people don't talk about it. 

The world is noisy and it can be hard to find a moment to breathe, much less think clearly. 

So it makes sense why everyone's feeling this way.

It's not a big thing, just a small step in a different direction.

Remember that you have more in common with the average person than we're led to believe. 

Take care of yourself, be good to people, and things will improve.

The breakdown comes before the breakthrough, and there are better days ahead.

And don't forget to go outside and get some sunshine.
