Hello I'm Sharon. I've taken different road in life. I quickly grew out of being a free labor kid for my construction worker dad. Dad always had an infinite number of home improvement projects.  Still...never enough money!

I worked my way through college (BAAS and MBA). Many of you have done this too!

I build companies and I am a self-made multi-millionaire. I'm so passionate about getting the most out of my life!  Travelling to unique destinations, continuously experiencing life-long learning, attending the Dallas opera, giving back to select charities, becoming a podcaster later in 2025, and having fun too! I want more investors to create and touch their own dreams!

I love it when people accomplish more than they thought possible and have a few things to say about what makes for a fulfilling career. I spent 25 years with Allegis Group, the last six serving as president of the global staffing and services company.Since wrapping up my time there, I've taught classes at Duke University, guest lectured at a few other schools, and written a regular LinkedIn blog. I speak on a range of topics, including digital transformation, the future of work, leadership, AI, change management, analytics, and the role businesses should play in reshaping our world. I can't whistle, haven't finished Ulysses, and often think I should learn to tie better knots. I believe in the Oxford Comma and vow never to shop in grocery stores run by people who don't know the difference between "fewer" and "less." Convenience wins, though. I look away from the "20 Items or Less" sign when I move toward the self checkout.I'm a husband of almost 30 years and father to three kids who happen to be really cool human beings (even if they continue to roll their eyes at any attempt I make at a joke. I also work for Leo, our Newfoundland, who keeps me on my toes.
