The jump from 12 LPA to 30 LPA is not about more money.

It’s about fewer people you can blame.At 10–12 LPA, if something goes wrong,
you say: “I was told to do this.” And that’s acceptable.

At 30–40 LPA, if something goes wrong,
people look at you and ask: “Why did you approve it?” No hiding. No forwarding the mail.No “as discussed”. That’s the real shift nobody explains.

Early career: You are paid to follow instructions.

Mid to senior career: You are paid to give instructions and own the outcome.

That’s why the same person who wanted 35 LPA and later says, “Life was simpler at 12.” Because higher salary reduces excuses.

A Relatable question to all of us: If tomorrow something fails in your team, can you calmly say “I’ll handle it”?

Or will you start searching old emails That difference… is the real LPA jump.
