* Assisted in transitioning the company’s excel based financial models to a Hyperion/Essbase system that allowed for more efficient and reliable reporting
* Prepare multiple departments SG&A budgets.
* Manage individual film P&Ls and ultimates, forecast theatrical catalog finances, and prepare managerial reports on overall industry trends.

* Managed a revenue level of $40K upon entry to office and increased the shelter’s revenue level by 160% to the current level of $65K.
* Built the volunteer base from 65 to a 140 people to assist in operating the city shelter
* Planned, marketed and facilitated public events which, in addition to fundraising, served to increase the shelter’s public image and public awareness
* Handled advertising for events through traditional media (i.e. radio and newspapers) and also launched an initiative to use new social online media platforms (i.e. Facebook and Twitter)

Adam Weirich

Block laid off almost half its workforce.
Why? Because their AI is just winning so hard.  

I have no doubt it is because of that and not:

* The Afterpay Acquisiton which they overpaid for and hasn't done much
* Their profitability has struggled since 2022
* That the Hindenburg Research released that they allowed too many fake accounts to be used for fraudulent purposes
* Their massive Bitcoin investment (which I hear is doing well these days)
