Job burn-out. Toxic workplace. Career dissatisfaction. During my assorted careers in hospitality management, sales, and human resources, I’ve been through all of the above. I somehow navigated through each challenge on my own, but it certainly wasn’t easy. After my last transition, I considered hiring a career coach. The more I learned about the services they provide, the more I realized I had the skills, knowledge, and expertise to actually BECOME a career coach. 

Just as I reached this conclusion, an acquaintance approached me with the opportunity to join the Career Development staff at a local college. Talk about serendipity!

Provide support to Alumni Relations, Development, and University Relations departments as well as Penn State Berks Alumni Society, GOLD Committee, Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute Affiliate Program Group, and Blue & White Society. Coordinate details for alumni and donor events and travel. Create and maintain web content for Alumni Relations and Development. •	Represented nutrition department at daily interdisciplinary team meetings 
•	Completed Long Term Care Minimum Data Set (MDS) forms 
•	Participated in wound healing team
