I am a Professor at McGill University and a Technical Consultant focused on: Moving AI from Discussion Rooms to Full-Fledged Production, and i’m very passionate about helping all stakeholders get there.

> Conducted clinical data analysis on thousands of medical technology records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and reporting accuracy. Developed an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process to streamline data ingestion, cleaning, and preparation.

> Participate in a review of FATCA/CRS electronic and paper records to assess the accuracy of electronic recordkeeping and the effectiveness of JFL’s operational procedures. Responsibilities included data queries, aggregation, and analysis, interpretation and summary of findings presented to my managers. As part of this initiative I was able to identify areas of focus, potential deficiencies in recordkeeping and data fields for reconciliation with paper records.
> Participate in the development of a Policies and Procedures Library which required cataloguing from multiple sources, reviews for application scope, version control and policy ownership. The library ensures a centralized, master reference document that tracks policy stakeholders, required approvals, the time period for policy review, and policy location.
> Developed reports using database query tools to strengthen JFL’s oversight and monitoring of the AML/ATF and Sanctions program. In particular, I created monthly Client Risk Rating exception reports to identify any risk ratings not produced within program time frames.
> Supported my manager in developing and enhancing internal monthly reporting of key AML KYC data to ensure JFL maintains effective AML controls.
> Developed an Operational Dashboard and Project Tracker template as key tools for management to track from month to month non-financial risk indicators, first-line operational effectiveness and project statuses.
> Supported the Business Risk and Controls team with the timely development and completion of ad hoc reports

Project Managemnt Assistant

With a Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) from McGill University and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) credential, I am a data scientist with a passion for risk management and business intelligence. I have multiple skills in data analysis, modeling, and visualization, using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.

I have applied my data science skills in various projects and roles, such as a business risk analyst at Jarislowsky, Fraser Limited (JFL), where I participated in a review of FATCA/CRS records and a development of a policies and procedures library, and an academic consulting project for TD Bank, where I planned to build a neural network model to predict the future return and risk of S&P 500 stocks. I have also collected and designed data dashboards for Elna Medical's marketing and business development departments, using Power BI and third-party connectors.

I am seeking a business analyst position in the banking and finance industry, where I can leverage my data science and risk management expertise to drive informed decision-making and enhance firm value.
