If you don’t wear your clothes without washing, how can you imagine putting your content out without editing 1 Billion+ people on LinkedIn?

(and it’s happening most of the time).

I know, I know, you want to sound AUTHENTIC:

→ It doesn’t mean posting everything that you wrote, it says being the version of yourself, not OTHERS.

→  It doesn’t mean sharing the first draft even if it doesn’t serve the purpose, I mean, it’s good for initial motivation, but change it soon.

→  You want to be that next-door relatable person, but a specific positioning doesn’t come from that.

The way your old clothes don’t make an issue, but dirty ones do if you don’t wash them.

Similarly, if you simply post your old content, that’s fine, but putting out the first version all the time because you’re too lazy to edit it out, not COOL.

Make sure that you attract your audience and don’t keep them away because of the thoughts you show through your content.

People don’t see you in real time; it’s your thoughts that give them an opinion about you.

Make every second count.
Make it all memorable.

P.S. How many times do you edit your content before posting?

(pps: sharing some old pictures because it reminds me a lot more about 'those' days)

I’ve worked with 400+ global creators and helped companies generate $400K+ through creator-led campaigns.

(managing everything across finding, negotiating, closing deals and helping creators write viral-worthy content that aligns with both parties)

Every campaign made me realise how creator-led marketing is shifting all across; creators are changing their approach to make more money.

Brands are trying out different modules to ensure that they get more ROI than they put in.

There are multiple options, like:

1) only cash payments
2) barter + cash
3) only barter
4) ‘brand partners’

The fourth one is getting interesting day by day, but it’s not effective for all creators out there, e.g., you can be an AI creator but not rely on one specific tool.

But there are creators in multiple segments, like email marketing, who are becoming brand partners and signing long-term deals to integrate the brand in their workflow and talk about it 3-4x a month.

It’s not just bringing a lot of eyeballs, but genuine ones, those who can afford the product. It’s great for the brand, too, but it needs quite a detailed background check before committing to this one.

There are quite debates around monetary and barter collabs; here’s a simple perspective:

1) if your monetary investment in a creator for a post is more than what your product costs, try to negotiate with the creator to try out the product, give a review on the page and offer some money for the same.

(saves you in cost, helps you gain genuine reviews, and you get a customer to track if they genuinely stick to it)

2) if your product is way too pricey and if you offer free signups, you’ll be in losses, go ahead with monetary collabs and ask creators to log in and explore during the free trials; they’ll understand the product and can buy if required

That’s literally it, simple and easy stuff!

5+ paid gigs for a client (check screenshots for proof), all through CONTENT (and stories).

We started quite a few months back, and all she wanted was a personal brand that could attract potential ‘executive’ level roles (25+ years of experience).

Paid gigs came as a by-product of what we were writing and how we positioned her on LinkedIn.

Simple mix of:

- professional journey with learnings
- some failures followed by their resolutions
- personal stories along with their impacts on work
- and content around her journey (ups and downs)

Example: Being a mom, how she managed her work in such a big position and received multiple awards.

Results only take the right effort in the right direction, followed by some strong frameworks.

If you want some similar or better results, let’s speak through DMs (say HI).

Nobody at my home knows this, but I eat sweets to shut down my stress/validate myself while crying.

At my home, chocolates have been associated only with fond memories. Usually, when guests were coming over, I got 95+, there was a birthday or so.

But surprisingly, the first time I tried a chocolate while I was crying, it just felt different, like a warm hug from myself that I can get over this.

Funny enough, once I saw a chocolate but was sceptical about eating it because I thought chocolates were eaten when you’re happy.

It reminds me all the time that not everything you see is the ONLY truth, there’s the whole world beyond what you SEE.

Similarly, a lot of people think that content calendars are the best way to stay consistent, and you can lose out if you’re not following one.

That’s a bubble like I was in about chocolates.

Come out of that bubble, create calendars, but not for so long that your content loses its essence eventually, because we keep on getting ideas.

Content calendars and bulk content creation are great, but thinking that ONLY this can bring you results isn’t SO.

→ Write daily
→ Post about your work
→ Find some content pillars
→ Stick to those, but re-invent

(the way I found that chocolates can heal me during tough times, too, rather than associating with fond memories only)

P.S. This is one of the most random posts I wrote at 11:40 pm when I randomly craved for chocolates (and obviously I wasn’t looking to celebrate something)

You’re trying really hard to be ‘authentic’, and that’s destroying your rawness, especially on LinkedIn.

2026 is about to come, and if you still think that you need to ‘be’ authentic to show your real self.

You’re:
→ joking with yourself.
→ fooling your audience
→ sidelining your ICPs
→ losing out on speaking gigs
→ losing out on your personality

Authenticity itself is about a situation when there’s no pressure to become someone; it’s YOU in your zone.

That doesn’t mean you share everything here, but:

→ share your honest opinions
→ share your real journey
→ share your struggles
→ share the pathway
→ share your process

All of this makes it easier for the audience to understand you as a person and learn from you.

That’s what shows your authenticity without any FORCE.

Here’s how I keep up with my ‘authenticity’:

(1) note down everything that comes to mind
(2) sit at once to find out what all I can share
(3) write a story that people will relate to
(4) write content that can help people

And that’s literally it.

It takes less than 30 minutes to write 4-5 pieces of content and choose the one you want to share.

→ impressions don’t matter
→ they don’t add much value
→ they are vague

1 week ago, I was consistently commenting across multiple posts, niche and random funny ones.

And boom!

One comment.
91,548 impressions.

Though it got me 0 clients (honestly)

But it gave me something else:

→ profile views
→ comment likes
→ motivation to write more comments

Now I can text people who viewed, connect and chat with them about work and more.

This post is just another sign to write more comments, it not only adds up but boosts your profile views.

3-step breakdown:

(1) Comment on industry-specific posts
→ it gives you niche-driven reach
→ you become known for your ICPs
→ people know you have a perspective

(2) Comment on micro creator’s posts
→ gives you a better response rate
→ you build a connection
→ you build community
→ you build loyalty

(3) Comment on the big creator’s post
(in your industry or even outside)

→ gives you immense visibility
→ helps you network more
→ gives you more credibility
→ helps you get clients (happened with me once)

That’s literally it.

Brands have lost stories that once used to stay with readers, and I can count at least 3 such ads↓

(1) Nike's “Just Do It.”

No fancy shoots, a simple 80-year-old man walking across with Nike’s shoes, and the tagline says ‘Just Do It’.

It was simple, powerful because people saw an old man running and talking about doing it daily, wearing some shoes. It depicted a lot about how brands are catering to different categories with simplicity, and it’s still a benchmark in advertising.

(2) Apple ’s “1000 songs in your pocket”

It was nothing less than MAGIC, suddenly people can see that there’s no chaos in owning 1000 songs with you.

Though it didn’t literally mean ‘in your pocket’, but captivating enough to gather all the attention and boost the sales of the iPod.

It focused on ease of consumption, carrying out a set of 1000 songs with you without the chaos of keeping a few CDs or tapes.

It’s nothing, but still a level that brands and marketers want to touch with simplicity across copy.

(3) Fevicol’s amazing ad film featuring ‘Sofa’

This film didn’t cast big faces but a societal narrative that people believed, a real scenario that people could relate to and how Fevicol played a great role among these.

This is one of my favourites, looking at how beautifully the whole song and cinematography have been done. It has it all: HUMOUR, RELATABILITY, & BRAND INTEGRATION.

What can beat Fevikol when even now, people know the whole category of this product by the name of this brand!

That’s how you set the standard of ad.

These days, creatives are amazing, the cast is great, but that one essential element of connecting dots is missing with multiple brands and collabs.

You cast big faces, but don’t just make it more about the face and their story, turn that into something people can understand and visualise.

Essentially, I have realised that if your ads can make them visualise it all, you have already won half of the battle.

P.S. What are some of the best ads that you love?

Personal branding can never make you fail in 2026 if you skip this 1 thing from your content and profile.

And it’s not about skipping ‘personal photos’.

There’s a lot of noise about ‘authenticity’.
(skip unnecessary pressure to sound so)

You try to show your authenticity, but use AI to:

→ research
→ observe
→ analyse
→ write
→ edit
→ post

And consistently talk about how tough it has become to be authentic on LinkedIn.

Surely, it has become so because you no longer want to involve the human brain in ‘actual work’.

Instead, you focus on finding that next best prompt to use AI and write content in bulk.

Or, you find another ‘used’ framework to write stories for you based on your personal details.

Don’t skip using AI, but try to:

→ write daily
→ read daily
→ observe daily
→ communicate daily

It’ll eventually help to make sure that your voice stays authentic and relatable with your audience.
