We compared Google AI Mode vs. AI Overview across 40 Spanish-language queries in Mexico. Same intent, two different answers 👇

Here’s what stood out:

📌 Only 55% of cited sources overlapped between AI Mode and AI Overview.

📌 Both models prioritize Spanish content, but not equally:

 • AI Overview: 96% Spanish sources. It consistently pushed English results out of the top 5 whenever a Spanish option was available.
 • AI Mode: 93% Spanish, but included around 30% more sources per query, with more variation.

But here’s the critical twist:
