Team Manager - Customer Success

As Lead Customer Success Manager at Contractbook, I am commercially and strategically
responsible for the largest enterprise customers, accounting for approximately 20% of Contractsbooks total ARR.

I am responsible for:
- Negotiation of new contracts
- Renewals of existing customers
- Upsell to existing customers and expand the revenue across verticals
- Overall responsible for a successful onboarding of new customers and integration of Contractbook to their tech stack

As a Team Lead for the Nordics & Benelux Account Management Team, I was managing a team of five highly skilled Account Managers.

The main objectives of the team was to expand the Falcon/Brandwatch footprint within existing customers but also to new markets via cross sell, within the customers organisation including subsidaries. 
An increased focus on selling professional services in the shape of consultancy, workshops to name a few, was an important part of creating a closer relationship with the clients and have the Account Managers perceived as a trusted advisor.

I was responsible for the management of the teams pipeline and to coach and manage the pipeline towards closed won business in alignment with the team target.
This includes 1:1 meetings with each Account Manager going through the pipeline and advising on how to overcome challenges and see new opportunities.

One of the key achievements was to hire and grow the team as well as a record target completion of +155%!

Team Lead Account Management Nordics & Benelux

As an Account Manager at Falcon.io I have the below responsibilities:

- Managing a portfolio of between 175-225 clients within the Nordics and EMEA, ranging from mid market to enterprise level.

- Identifying, developing & driving potential growth areas within existing clients, in close cooperation with the clients Customer Success Manager at Falcon.io and with consultative selling as best practise.

- Responsible for all negotiations with the client and for the content within the contract, ensuring it is, as a minimum, matching the clients needs.

- Relationship building at different levels within the clients organisation, in order to build rapport and become the trusted advisor.

- Focusing on winning back customers as well and also being the lead on all RFP's related to my clients, in close cooperation with relevant colleagues within Falcon.io

Singapore Airlines

As Head of Market Development Nordics, I was responsible for identifying new opportunities within existing partners as well as within new partnerships. 
The following areas were part of my responsibilities:

• National Tourism Organizations (NTO): 
I worked closely together with various strategical important NTOs, in order to develop the destination and create awareness and preference towards traveling with Singapore Airlines. 
I co-managed, cordinated and post-evaluated joint marketing campaigns in cooperation with NTOs and invited partners, where clear defined KPIs had been set for the campaign as well as clear guidelines. 

• Business Analytics:
I prepared all data analytics, that provided forecast figures as well as actual figures, in order to aid and guide the sales team, where to focus their ressources when planning their strategical and tactical sales plans. The data highlighted which travel agents, destinations, cabin classes e.g. that were trending up/down and where to take action as to recover lost or potential lost sales or develop a new opportunity. 

• Commercial Partnerships
I was responsible for developing commercial partnerships across industries, and where the synergies were clear and the added value for both partners as well as Singapore Airlines customers, were a win-win. 

• Cross Selling:
I was responsible for developing sales within the SIA Group of airlines; Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Scoot
This was supported by various activities, such as the partnership with NTOs in combination with educational tours to the destinations, where a min. of two of the airlines operate to.

As a Sales Executive/Passenger Sales Representative Denmark, I was responsible for the current areas:

• Key Account Management - building long term relationships with Singapore Airlines’ partners and being a consultative seller - a "win-win" situation for both the customer and Singapore Airlines

• Responsible for large enterprises and SME corporate clients, such as conducting business reviews, product updates and how to improve the business relationship

• Responsible for a growing portfolio of leisure travel agents. To develop new destinations, travel concepts and educate Travel Consultants in Singapore Airlines unique value added selling point. Also to organize, participate and follow up on educational tours with travel agents

• Market Development: devoloping new destinations by having a close cooperation with various tourist organisation. Driving, executing and follow up, on joint marketing campaigns with clearly defined kpi's with tourism organisations and travel agents.

I was responsible for Qatar Airways’ commercial clients and the business travel agents in the Danish market.

The areas I worked with were:

Being part of IBM's Nordic Graduate Sales Trainee program, has been a major asset for me and the development of my professional selling skills.

* I have attended IBM's Global Sales School and IBM Advanced Sales Master Class, which is a combination of group assignments and individual performances in a face to face environment, working with real life scenarios and cases. 

* The other part of the trainee ship, consists of getting to know the IBM portfolio of hardware products, mainly within System x but also with in storage. Most importantly, it has been very valuable, being able to apply the skills from Global Sales School with on-the-job training, visiting clients and driving my own cases/projects.

Nordic Sales Graduate Trainee

* I had the responsibility for the corporate accounts in Denmark. I increased the number of accounts and revenue, while maintaining the existing accounts. 

* I had the responsibility to drive sales with business travel agents, negotiating incentive contracts, attending and arranging client events, updating the clients sales staff on Singapore Airlines and establishing a relationship with their account managers. This helped in signing new corporate accounts.

* To drive sales and follow up on sales performance for leisure travel agents in Denmark, pushing campaigns and follow up on them, product updates, events with the clients to build relationships, attending educational trips to Asia and follow up on these after returning back to Denmark.

* I also had, for a period of 4-5 months, the responsibility to coordinate advertising inserts with the media agency and travel agents, making sure all deadlines and agreements were honored. 

My time at Singapore Airlines was a very valuable time where I learned a lot about sales, both on a strategic-, tactical- and operational level.
I also learned a lot about marketing, account management and the importance of client relationships and most importantly, to listen to the client and put my self in their shoes. It has proofed to be a great approach for me, working with sales.
