After a year working as a Student Ambassador at The University of Dundee, I have been promoted to Senior Student Ambassador. While still undertaking the same responsibilities as before, I will now perform a larger amounts of tasks in my role, including more leadership. We are currently 11 Senior Students Ambassadors whom act as leaders for the full team of Ambassadors, consisting of almost 200 students. This entails overseeing performance and productivity during all major events, while maintaining motivation and positivity. I will also be travelling on behalf of the University, to educational fares nationwide, providing presentations for large amounts of people. I have also been chosen to become an official "Dundee Ambassador" as an extension of my role, meaning I will be conducting Dundee city tours.

The Student Ambassadors at the University of Dundee are the University's primary and most personal source of communication with prospective students. As a student ambassador, it is my main responsibility to show prospective students the campus, answer their questions whatever they may be and act as a mentor and source of advice. This includes not only providing detailed facts about the university, but also to provide excellent customer care, knowing how to handle stressful situations (during for example the university's open days), being inherently organized and working well with the other student ambassadors.
