I’ve always believed that sales is more than numbers — it’s about building trust, solving problems, and creating opportunities that change lives. 

For over a decade at CHG Healthcare’s CompHealth division, I’ve had the privilege of helping more than 240 surgeons find the right fit for their careers while supporting hospitals in critical need.

My path here hasn’t been a straight line. Before healthcare, I built an e-commerce company from scratch, learning SEO, digital marketing, and customer experience long before they became buzzwords. 

Later, I launched a consulting business that guided 200+ leadership and business coaches in scaling their online presence — even collaborating with elite programs like Amy Porterfield’s (Best Selling Author of 2 Weeks Notice) Momentum Mastermind. 

Those experiences taught me how to blend sales strategy with digital innovation, and how to help others grow.

Today, I combine that background with a deep passion for coaching and mentorship. Whether it’s helping a physician navigate the locums market, guiding a new sales rep to confidence, or speaking on stages about value propositions and LinkedIn strategy, I thrive on empowering people to succeed.

I tried something that makes some people cringe:
Talking to myself in the mirror. Every morning. For months.


Not because I felt broken.
Not because I lacked confidence.
But because I was curious.

A friend invited me into a course (Lisa Nicholls, Speak & Inspire) with some daily practices.

This one stuck. Hard.

Every morning I’d grab a mirror and say 3 things, seven times, with a new ending each time.

1. “Kati, I’m proud of you for…”
2. “Kati, I commit to you to…”
3. “Kati, I forgive you for…”

At first, it felt a bit forced.

But then something shifted.

It started to feel like care.

Like I was being held by the person who needed to most: me.

It wasn’t about fixing anything.

It was about topping up my resilience before the day began.

Here’s how I did it:

1. Kept a small mirror next to the bed.
2. On waking, I spoke each sentence 7 times with a new ending.
3. I did it for 2–3 months. No skipping. Just noticing.

The effect?

→ Clearer self-talk.
→ Deeper honesty
→ More self-trust.

After each session I felt like I was somehow more resilient.

I stood there, hair flying, water roaring, thinking one thing: 
Energy doesn't wait. 

Not for plans. 
Not for perfect timing. 
Not for when things “calm down.”

I’ve learned that when something stirs… that’s the moment to take action.

Every time I hit a target (small or big) I aim to play Eurythmics, Sweet Dreams, jump up an down like a crazy woman for a few minutes, soak up the winning vibes, and then everything goes back to normal. It’s my way to program and indulge in the wins.

"I’m a top voice in event planning, but imposter syndrome still sneaks in."
She said it mid-call, casually, like it was normal.
It is.

Success doesn’t delete doubt.

It’s not about never feeling fear.

→ It’s about not letting it stop you.

Here’s what she did: 

1. She acknowledged the imposter moment
2. Remembered her wins
3. Kept posting, leading anyway with real life client stories 
4. Used her story to validate others

Your fear doesn’t disqualify you.

It makes you relatable, so get out there and share how building on LinkedIn really feels.

Last week we had a breakthrough.
We’ve been doing some back and forth and brainstorming around M’s offer - joining the dots between aligning long term goals with short term needs and BINGO. 

We hit the sweet spot.

→ Aligned messaging that's leading M in the right direction

→ All wrapped up in writing that says what it is on the tin.

Boy it felt good. 

Because what comes before that is a big messy ball of juicy ideas, dreams, needs, timelines and fears. Yes, fears.

And that’s a lot to juggle.

So after a few weeks of unravelling and talking through all of the above, we landed on something that felt GOOD.

The energy lifted, motivation was back in the room and all the next steps just felt… easier.

I could see it in her face.
